Our daughter loves this bed so far. We just put it up. I would give it more stars but there are 2 things that I don’t like. First is it stinks!!!! Our whole house smells. You could smell it while still in the box. Not sure if it’s the varnish or what. The 2nd thing is that the wood is not smooth. It is very rough as if it wasn’t sanded at all. This bed is sturdy and solid. We bought it as an investment to allow our 7-year-old son to have something to use well into his teen years, and after assembling it and using it for a couple of weeks, I feel good that the quality will sustain him for that length of time. I love the driftwood finish, as it provides a nice variation from the typical furniture color options. Our son loves sleeping up high and having his own desk space underneath, and we love not only the desk space but also the drawer storage for clothes. A few other random notes: 1. My son has a smaller room, and although this takes up a decent amount of real estate in the room, it extends his space by providing a bed, desk, and chest in one piece. 2. The amount of desk space easily fits one chair and could even fit a second. 3. The bed has horizontal slats and a vertical slat that runs down the center, which allows it to support a mattress without a box spring. 4. The bed ships in six boxes and takes a while to arrive since it has to be sent as ground freight. 5. When it comes to assembly, although it's not difficult to understand how to put the pieces together, it took two of us about 2 hours to put it together. The only problem we experienced was that one of the pieces arrived damaged. Wayfair was great about replacing it, although it took a while to get the replacement due to the ground shipping requirement. The loft is cute, and it was much easier to assemble than I thought. I did this on my own, with the “help” of two of my three small children, and it took me about 3.5 hours. The only thing I am not super thrilled about is that it feels wobbly and less sturdy than I anticipated. I guess we’ll see how it goes!

purchased this for my 4yrs old, perfect size,we made a small fort under the loft, its super fun for him, and the size make me feel comfortable for the fact its not super high off the ground, I do suggest 2 people for assembly

This bed is made of solid wood and is of excellent quality for the price. The instructions are very clear, and my husband was able to assemble two of them in under five hours. Our 5 12 year old twins adore their new big kid beds! Lots of room to play underneath (about 30” clearance), and not so high that they get scared. I would absolutely recommend this product!
Beautiful bed! It took my husband several hours to put together. It is a bit higher than I thought it would be but doesnt seem yo be an issue for my 4 year old. Well worth the time it took to assemble. It seems very sturdy and my daughter is very excited about her new big girl bed. Perfect for the small space of her room and we are creating a reading nook underneath. No isses with shipping and delivery was quick. Highly recommend.
this is made for 6" mattress which seems ridiculous..we had to make some additions to the frame for safety since our mattress is 12"
We love this bed! We needed something for our almost 5 year old daughter that would make me and her happy. She wanted a bunk bed, but that made me nervous. This is enough of one to make us both happy, plus it gives us added storage space in her room. She’s super excited about it!
