I just love it, I had back issues for years, but last year it got really bad. I could not sleep in any mattress, which I bought 3 different ones and none worked for me" yes they were good mattress " any way I notice that the only place I could actually sleep was on the couch when my head was on the arm rest " about 35-degree angle maybe" and I started doing some research and find out that they actually have pillows like this. So I bought me Zuma foam and I thought that it was a very firm and I return the pillow” customer service was very awesome” them I got me the Whitney gel memory foam the pillow is a bit softer Thant the other one “this pillow had a very horrible smell, so I let it air out for couple of days” the pillow has been a bless and I am glad I can actually sleep again. I am not saying that the pillow will fix all your back pain issues but I defiantly feel a lot better when I wake up. We replaced stacked regular pillows with the foam wedge and it has made a world of difference. There is no longer any sliding off the stack, winding up flatter and having trouble breathing. The wedge is very well made, soft enough to be comfortable, covered in a nice form fitting pillowcase that the body doesn’t slide off. It has made a world of difference in a comfortable night’s sleep and the ability to stay asleep longer. I highly recommend this pillow for anyone needing to sleep in a raised position.
Fantastic pillow ! I purchased due to a horrible bout of acid reflux and this pillow has been a tremendous help! Iit eases the irritation in my throat due to the acid traveling up when asleep. I was a little hesitate to buy but it was worth it. I am off my meds and haven’t had another flare up.

I bought a 10" pillow for my Mom to prevent acid reflux an pneumonia. I bought a 7" pillow for myself because of sinus issues and to prevent pneumonia. It is so much better than piling pillows to be propped up! The pillow is amazingly comfortable. I use a regular pillow with it to have my neck at a comfortable arch. It is well made, was delivered quickly, and is a very good price. I highly recommend it.

I recently had shoulder surgery and I was instructed by another patient to invest in one of these wedge pillows in order to sleep in bed comfortably. He was so correct on this. I sleep better in the bed with this wedge pillow than I do in the recliner. I love the comfort of this wedge and the ability to pile pillows on it to my desired comfort and they don't fall off in my sleep. Though, with this pillow I do take up a large portion of our queen size bed, and I'm very lucky that my husband is very accommodating to me. Like the pictures show, I can prop it up against the headboard and sit up in bed more comfortably than if I just had pillows behind me. This wedge pillow gives me the support that I need. I wish I'd gotten this earlier for my knee surgeries when I was in bed more, it would've given me the needed support for my back. Thank you for a great product

I'm really like this wedge. I wanted one that was fairly low profile with a gentle angle to get adjusted to sleeping on a wedge and this has been just right. I may move up to a higher one, but my husband likes this just fine.There was some slight off-gassing smell when I unwrapped it, but that faded fairly quickly. The cotton cover is nice, but I also covered it with a spare flat twin sheet. I haven't noticed any major heat issues.Made in the USA, affordable, decently made and comfortable. I have a bad back. I used to slip a disc just thinking about it. Lol. No joke. Thank god I have a great Chriro that I see monthly. But having a bad back for 20 years is not going to heal in 1 or 2 years. I have to always pay attention to my moves. I also bought a ajustable bed. Love it. Absolutely best purchase I ever made.But.... I personally bought this wedge for when I am away from my bed. I use this behind my back to be at a incline so I am not laying completely flat. Or for under my legs to elevate my knees to take pressure off my back and hips. Whatever it takes to not slip a disc. I will spend the money. Happily to report I am 80% better than 2 years ago. High-quality memory foam product. It's perfect for GERD and post-op for many surgeries. It comes totally flat and my husband said, before we opened the package (when it rose to its full potential!) that oh, we will have to return this. I love it. I think it would also be great for third trimester pregnancies, when heartburn is an issue, and also getting out of bed is a major production! Would recommend heartily.

Comfortable, well-made wedge pillow, definitely helped with my acid reflux. A little awkward sleeping at such an angle at first, but after a few nights got better.
My gastroenterologist told me to elevate my head at night 5in.for my acid reflux, so I looked for a wedge pillow on Amazon and decided on this one in the 8in. I received it yesterday, the packaging was great and there was absolutely no smell. I used it last night, and being a side sleeper I used my regular pillow on top and another I kind of hugged close to my body. This worked well for me. Not only does it help with the acid reflux but I sometimes wake myself up snoring, not last night and no sinus congestion either. I'm very happy I purchased this and would definitely recommend this pillow to others with these problems.

It's a hard pillow when you first get it, but after a while, it softens up a bit making it super comfortable. I also use a soft pillow with it so my head doesn't feel like its going to flop side to side.It not too high so you won't wake up with neck pain after a long nights sleep. I love this pillow. Its especially great if you have lower back pain.
I wish someone told me previously that sleeping with your head elevated would prevent acid reflux. This works amazingly. However, I purchased the lowest one, 8-inch back. Then I lay a thin, memory foam pillow at the lowest section and place a regular pillow above it. This way I can tuck the regular pillow under my neck for support. I often wake up with soreness because I slept in a strange position, but it surely prevents my acid reflux from creating a sore throat or worse.

If you are considering this pillow to combat gastric reflex, it works very well for that. Also, it has a nice angle for watching tv in bed. A tad hard to get used to the height if you use it with a pillow on top, but I've learned to adjust and it was worth it to avoid waking up in the middle of the night with that burning sensation in my esophagus.
Right off the bat, let me say I am not the person who purchased this particular wedge. I purchased the "Brentwood Home Zuma Therapeutic Foam Wedge Pillow, Made in USA, 7-inch" at the beginning of April and was SO happy with the results that I told our neighbor about it. The one I purchased was perfect for my frame and size. THIS wedge was perfect for our friend. Let me tell you a little bit about his situation so you know just how amazing these wedges can be.Our friend is in his 80s and has had very serious back issues for years. He's had multiple surgeries and other various treatments and the pain is still off the charts sometimes. His back was so bad he was sleeping (when he could sleep) in a chair. Getting in and out of bed was too painful. He can only sleep on his back now and even that was hard. I told him about the wedge I purchased and suggested he try one.I sent my friend the link to the page for the wedge I purchased. He checked everything out and decide on this one because of the size and extra gel foam layer. It arrived quickly. Well WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE. He is sleeping in his bed now and he says his nighttime pain has been cut in half for the first time in years. First, it makes it possible for him to lay down and sit up. He had a very hard laying flat and getting back up again was just too much on his own which is why he mostly slept in his chair. It also helped relieve pinched nerve pain and disc issues. Perfect height for people like me with horrible reflux/GIRD. Also great to flip on smallest end to sit in bed and watch TV. Only bad thing about sleeping on a wedge is you're rather forced to sleep on your back only, you can sleep very slightly on your side before it's uncomfortable.

Been looking for a good wedge pillow, I was surprised to find right here at Wayfair, the wedge helps me get the best rest possible keeping my upper body at a upward slant, helping me with my issues with night time reflux.
Not sure this helped me at all after my neck surgery. In fact, I found it more annoying without a decent support. It is harder memory foam than I expected and the angle made me confused where my shoulders versus my head should be positioned without feeling uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping on a lazy boy which was by far more comfortable.
It's almost impossible to actually get the wedge to hit at the right spot for anything more than an elevated head. You can't get your chest be part of the incline. And the cooling gel makes zero difference. But it is helpful for snoring issues.

This has been a lifesaver for us - I use it for acid reflux and my daughters use it when they have colds. It's firm enough to hold shape but still comfy enough for sleeping. The cooling gel is great, I never wake up sweating which is what you would normally expect from foam.

Just got my Z-gel-infused memory foam wedge pillow. It's pretty firm, which I don't like. The description stated a comfort level of soft. Being memory foam I hoped it would let my body sink in a bit. It doesn't. The gel infused layer...not sure of it's purpose. Usually this means it's cooler than the memory foam. I haven't noticed a difference. For the cost, not a good buy for me. Pros: Very supportive Cons: Too firm and over priced. Not comfortable for someone with back issues.
This has been the best purchase I've made for my sleep ever. Before this product I was using several pillows to get an incline and would cause my back to hurt after 5-6 hrs of sleep. Without the pillows I might be able to sleep 4 hrs. But ever since my first night using the BackMax Body Wedge, and I use it in the zero gravity configuration most of the time, I've been able to sleep for 7-10 hrs without any back pain. I've also used just the back wedge with the same results of being able to sleep for 8+ hours with no pain. This is a good send. I'm usually one that likes a soft bed to sleep on, but this has been the most comfortable I've sleep since I was a teenager. If you have any issues with back pain or have to sleep elevated, give this a chance. It's worth every penny!
This has helped me so much, that I went on vacation to Florida to see my daughter & I ordered one for her house the day before I left, Thank you for getting it to me so quickly, I had to go only one night w/o it. "This BackMax Body Wedge System, 28 Inch was the best investment I could have ever made for my L4L5 Laminectomy surgery!!! I ordered it on Sunday and Monday was Labor Day. My surgery was scheduled for Wednesday. The product arrived in 2 days!!! I am a registered nurse and would highly recommend this product for anyone having lower back surgery!!! It would also be helpful for folks with COPD in order to open they’re chest for air to get in. Also for CHF for those that have lower extremity fluid buildup.
