Those few nights were THE BEST sleeps I had in a long while. Firm enough for me to feel the support of the floor, yet cradled enough by the topper that it wasnt too hard. Also noticed that I didnt wake up with my normal morning stiffness from the pillow top mattress. Shipping for mattress was just as quick as the topper. Upon opening there was a farm animal smell mixed with latex, which was strong enough to be off putting to me. I also noticed sagging in the middle of the mattress once it was laid onto my platform bed. I phoned the company & the customer rep assured me that it would take a few days to a week for the mattress to full expand to its capacity; and if it didn't, they would ship a new mattress. I found the firm to be TOO firm(I'm a side sleeper) & bouncy, so I put medium topper over it. I felt like Goldilocks, it was just right!! Even masking the zoo smell from the mattress. Now having slept on the mattress & topper for nearly 2 weeks, I have to say that I am getting some of the best nights sleeps ever!! Even my housemate commented how comfortable it is to lay on. So I wont be returning the topper, happy to know that if I go thru a phase of needing more firmness, I can always remove it. Oh, I also noticed that the animal smell as calmed down a lot, needing to place my nose close to mattress to detect. I do wish the mattress had handles. Great Value and High Quality
The Pure Green is really well constructed from materials that feel durable, especially the primary material, which is a huge slab of latex. I much prefer the feeling of the latex mattress to memory foam, and I like that it's cooler than foam mattresses. Highly recommended.

Also, more comfortable than many other conventional matresses. Another issue is the mattress itself is a little (1-4 inches) narrower and shorter than advertised, than a typical full size bed. Maybe factor the thick wool cover into the advertised mattress dimensions, which seems misleading. I know it's just a few inches but it felt noticably narrower to me than my conventional full mattress. Overall, I'm still undecided. I'm happy to have been able to afford a more eco-friendly and healthy mattress. I wonder if I expected too much, comfort-wise. We bought a 9 in medium density mattress, and added the 3in soft topper. This was not comfy enough for my husband's aches and pains, so we are going to add a 3 in down topper in search of a cloud nine rest for him. I like the mattess with the soft topper, and I like that it's natural, had minimal odor, and that it is not friendly to dust mites.

This mattress is great, we got a medium firmness because so many people said the medium was really firm. I disagree, I think the medium is appropriately categorized and thus we are returning for a firm. It’s super comfy but we have an infant and need a firmer sleep surface. Firmer than expected, but I love it
I've only ever slept on one mattress my whole life, so I dont have much mattress wisdom to offer. The mattress was a little firmer than I thought, but I sleep like a baby on it.

The most important aspect of the bed--probably any bed--is comfort. This mattress is firm and supportive without being a rock. It's exactly what I wanted. Other pros: it did not stink of chemicals when it arrived and was pretty easy to unwrap. Minor con: it's a beast to move by oneself. Get a friend or a gym membership. Overall, I am very happy.

We purchased a king firm. It’s firm but comfortable. We added a 2 inch soft topper. It’s amazing. I sleep on my stomach and back. Husband sleep on side we are both very comfortable. This bed will last for years.

Just got this mattress. I was so nervous about buying this without testing it out but thought the price was really good for a natural mattress without synthetic foams and flame retardants. It has some give on the surface but overall very firm, which is perfect. Also, the only smell when you open it is wool, a little bit like a barn, but soooo much better than a toxic chemical smell.
Low rider
It has only been a week or so but the jury is still out. The mattress still seems to curl up slightly at the ends and is not really cosmetically appealing when the bed is made. Functionally, it seems pretty good, but will require I replace some level of box spring 4-5'' to bring to a realistic height. This is not my first latex and/or foam mattress so it really is a different animal. I will continue the trial and see. I trust consumer reports, and they rated it very high! Love the 100 day trial!
Extremely comfortable for back and side sleepers
The helpful customer service team recommended the 9'' medium queen, and we've been very happy with it since it arrived two weeks ago. Easy to unpack (though it was challenging to wrestle the 120-pound box up two flights of stairs). No weird off-gassing smell. Has helped me sleep better. I wish I had bought this years earlier.
Just what I wanted
I have been looking around at mattress options for about three years, and finally the time was right to buy one. I choose Sleep on Latex because it seemed like the best combination of a good quality mattress for a reasonable price. It is comfortable and just what I was hoping for!
Sleeps cooler than memory foam
I like that this mattress sleeps way cooler than my previous memory foam mattress from the 'member only big box store'. It is also more comfortable and doesn’t have the chemical smell of memory foam. It did have a slight earthy smell but only for a couple days. I didn’t mind the earthy smell, it was very slight and reminded me that this is made from natural materials. I’ve been on the mattress a few weeks now and I’m very happy with the purchase. I have the soft mattress and my wife and I are both happy with the firmness level. I always felt that my previous memory foam was too hard, this is way better.
Comfortable and Safe
Very satisfied with the medium mattress. I also got a soft mattress topper and I'm happy with the combination. I also sleep so much better knowing there are no chemical flame retardants and other harmful VOCs in this mattress.

Our order was filled and sent earlier than anticipated. Because of prior experience with a firmer latex mattress, we purchased a soft mattress. For us, this is extremely comfortable, and includes the underlying firm latex that gives good underlying support. We are very satisfied with our purchase.
Soft but supportive
I have slept on my queen mattress for about a week now. It is a soft (I’m a side sleeper). The top is soft, but the deeper support is reassuringly firm. A nice combination! Too early to give it 5 stars, but so far, so good.

This mattress is a definite deviation from the norm so the first week was an adjustment getting used to the 'firmness' of the firm option but now I find I am not waking to joint pain in the hip or knees (from the side sleeping position.) I chose the 7'' firm mattress but in the near future I will add the 3'' topper of medium firmness.
Poor customer service/Deceit
I have bought two latex toppers. I am trying to return the 2nd one since it has a smell that actually made me sick. I have emailed them twice about a return but get no reply. They apparently just want to run out the 30 day clock so that you cannot return an item. This is poor business practice/fraudulent return policies. The customer service is non existent. I do not recommend this product or company. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to warn others of their fraudulent return policies. Be forewarned. There are better latex companies out there.
Indentions after 4-6 months
We settled on the soft after trying the medium. Great customer service. After 6 months of sleeping on it, I noticed body indentions on each side that were large enough to see when the bed was made under a thick comforter. Again, great customer service sent me another soft under warranty. Now we’ve had the replacement for 4 months and the indentions are forming again so both of our backs are hurting. It’s a comfy mattress but just doesn’t last.

Just as expected from a latex mattress at an unbeatable price
This is the second latex mattress in our household and we love the Sleep on Latex. No difference between this one and the much pricer one we have on a different bed. We are used to sleeping on latex so there was no adjustment in terms of how it feels, the heaviness of it, or the smell (we love the barn smell of latex.) I have ordered a medium mattress that is perfect - not too firm, not too soft, and a 2-inch soft topper which we all find a little too soft. As I said we are used to sleeping on firm mattresses so this felt unusual in the first few days. I highly recommend Sleep on Latex.
Best For Back
I can't praise the company "Sleep on Latex" enough for both product and good company policies. I have been with bad back for many years and have tried various mattresses and memory foam toppers to no avail. I was suffering with an extreme spell with my back and decided to give a latex topper a try. Luckily for me, I found Sleep on Latex while web searching. Their product is a blessing for me. Their return policy is wonderful with sending the larger box for free return which allowed me to try both medium and soft topper. My back is so much improved that the doctor is no longer talking about surgery. All I can say is Thank You, Thank You for their courteous handling of my order.

I ordered one firm and one regular extra long mattress to replace a king size mattress. The regular was perfect for me but the firm was a bit too firm after trying both for 90 days. In one 10 minute phone call on Thursday afternoon Andy happily arranged to ship another regular mattress in exchange for the firm mattress at no charge with free shipping and said he would try to arrange FedEx delivery for the weekend. For the firm mattress he offered me the choice of my donating it to a local charity or scheduling a pickup at no expense either after delivery of the new mattress or later. I chose Monday pickup. FedEx delivered the new mattress at 8:30 AM Saturday and Loadup Co. Sent a text on Monday morning that the driver was on the way an by 11 AM the old mattress was gone. The entire experience was friendly and efficient with a real concern for customer convenience. After 3 month's experience the mattresses are great and my sore lower back is feeling better every day. I highly recommend this company.
The Best Mattress
We had a purple mattress for several years but after purchasing a bedroom suite had to go from a king to a queen size mattress. This time we wanted to purchase a more natural mattress and went with the awara hybrid. It was not what we were looking for in a mattress, too springy and the edge support was terrible. Then I found sleeponlatex and WOW!! My wife and I wake up feeling refreshed with none of the back pain from our previous mattress. It is on the firmer side but with just the right amount of give. Because of the all latex construction the edge support is far superior to the awara hybrid. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a great natural mattress.
