Sleep Number i8 Bed Reviews

I had heard about Sleep number from other RN colleagues. I have chronic low back issues. I decided to give them a try. So far I have had great success with this bed. My back pain has decreased significantly and I am able to once again sleep with my Wife as opposed to in the recliner. Awesome Bed!!

We both sleep number bed in October, since then i had a good night sleep, my back pain doesn't bother me much.

We bought our sleep number mattress a month ago and we are sleeping so much better. It makes the day better when you get a full nights rest.

We bought the i8 bed in October. The bed itself is great but the cell phone app is not so great. It doesn't track our sleep accurately. First, the app only allows one person to track and use the app completely. The other person can be included but doesn't track everything. Also the clock should be set for 24 hours, not 12 hours. Some people work night shifts so they may not go to sleep until late morning or early afternoon. Thank you.

WE BOUGHT THIS A MONTH AGO AND I AM BACK TO SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT MOST NIGHTS. I USUALLY DO NOT SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT BUT DID NOT THINK A BED WOULD MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE BUT IT DID. LOTS OF OPTION AND LOTS OF COMFORT. WE BOUGHT A SLEEP NUMBER 10 YEARS AGO AND NEEDED AN UPGRADE BUT WENT TO A DIFFERENT BRAND AND ALMOST IMMEDIATLY WE ARE BACK TO SLEEP NUMBER. OTHER BEDS BREAK DOWN SO FAST BUT THESE BEDS DO LAST A VERY LONG TIME. WE SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON VEHICLES JUST TO SIT IN FOR MAYBE A HOUR OR TWO A DAY BUT ARE RESERVED IN SPENDING MONEY ON A BED WE SPEND 8 HOURS PLUS EVERY NIGHT. I AM SOLD ON SLEEP NUMBER

This bed is a great bed! I had a sore lower back every single day before this bed. I haven’t had a single second of buyers remorse. Since the purchase of our bed I have evangelized that people buy sleep number! To date I have gotten four family members to buy. Make sure to purchase the delivery and setup of the bed. I’m done writing, so you can buy the bed.........Hurry!!!!! It takes a couple weeks to deliver.....Hurry!!!!!

We bought our bed over a month ago & love being able to adjust our own sleep numbers to each get our own comfort to sleep. Being able to adjust the foot of the bed helps so much with my restless legs to get a good nights sleep is wonderful.I would recommend the sleep number bed to everyone. You will be amazed at what a great nights sleep you can get.

This bed is okay, its great that we can adjust it but my wife constantly complains that the bed is hurting her back. She is 4'11" and 105Lbs. I am 6'4" 380Lbs. I have no issues with the bed. I do get night sweats but I am looking into the adjustable temperature thing for my side of the bed. I am giving a 3 because my wife is not happy with the bed and its supposed to keep you cool or warm and it doesn't do that.

I've had it for a month now and have been sleeping great. I've had 2 back surgeries and this bed is really helping.

Before:

He had several body pillows

I had stiff back that progressed to stabbing pain when I walked. I used a memory foam pillow for my neck.

I could not sleep on our old traditional mattress for more than a night a week.

We slept in two different rooms and neither of us was getting great sleep.

We loved the pillow top split base king version in the store.

After the first night:

I am not stiff. I have absolutely no pain in my back.

I don't use my memory foam pillow.

He doesn't use his body pillows.

We sleep on our backs.

No snoring.

We don't toss and turn. We don't wake several times a night. We sleep soundly through the majority of the night.

I don't use the sleep IQ. From time to time I'll pull it up on my phone, but I don't need an app to tell me how well I slept. I don't adjust the sleep number hardly at all. He adjusts the position frequently and appreciates the favorite settings option on the remote. He prefers to start out inclined and the bed goes flat automatically after a few hours. I keep mine with the head and feet slightly elevated.

If this bed can go 7-10 years with no major issues, I will be satisfied with the price point. I will try to return to post on going reviews. So far, since the first night our problems are solved and we are ecstatic.

Unfortunately this bed did not work for me. My setting had to be at least 50 to keep my spine straight and stop my back from hurting. However, no matter what the sleep number setting was (even if I lowered it below 50), I could feel pressure points in my shoulders. I had shoulder and neck pain the entire time I owned the bed and I lost a lot of sleep trying to make it work. I visited the chiropractor for a while because my neck pain was so severe I could barely turn my neck to the left and he was unable to help me. I was seriously frustrated and in tears from constant pain and lack of sleep. The only thing that helped was to stop sleeping on this bed. I did try all of the fixes they offered also so it's not like I didn't try everything to make the bed work. And as far as being able to adjust to a firmer or softer bed--I didn't find that to be the case. It was more that you adjust the support in your back area. Higher number meant you had more back support, lower number meant your back would sink in more, felt like a hammock at the lower number. So that means that I never felt any adjustment of firmness at the tops of the bed near my shoulders which is what caused my problems.

I bought this bed for a guest room. This is my third sleep number bed and it is excellent as are the other two.

This is our second sleep number bed. Our last was 17 years old when we decided we might need a new bed. Most mattresses only make it 10! Love the new sleep IQ app that tracks

our sleep we are sleeping much better.

They say put your money under your mattress and it will be safe. Do something better with your money , get the sleep Number i8 bed. I was waking up in the morning and feeling like someone had beaten me up every morning . That seems like a bad dream. Since I got my bed every morning I wake up like a new person, nothing like the way it was befor. Yes it is a lot of money, sorry sleep number, but it is money well spent. I read all of the review and thought ,yah right . It is true you have to experience it for yourself. I look forward to going to sleep because I know in the morning I will have had a great night sleep. That's all I can say , it is a Great Bed.
