I hadn't tested this brand, so when I received it I thought it would be like the Tempur Pedic one that I tried. This one just has up or down on the head and foot and I thought it would have multiple positions. For someone looking for the basics, this is good for the price, but if looking for one that will do more than raise the bed at either the head or the foot, I would not recommend this base.
Contrary to the last reviewer, I think this adjustable base is great! While it does not have the features included with bases that cost more than twice as much, I think it has everything you need. The head and foot of the base adjust to an infinite combination of settings allowing you to get in just the right position. It has a lounge setting and a single button to make the bed flat. I feel the features on the more expensive bases are not really necessary and are certainly not worth the far greater cost. Some of the pricier versions have a massage feature (which is nothing more than a vibration), some have a light that illuminates the underside of the bed, and USB ports. Also the more expensive versions come with a wireless remote but I actually prefer the wired remote that comes with this base because it cannot be misplaced. This is a solid base that works well, operates quietly, and is reasonably priced. I definitely recommend it!

We are enjoying our new mattress, it's soft yet firm. I like the way it contours to my body as I lay. I feel rested in the mornings and my lower back does not hurt when I've laid to long.
I sleep so well every night on this mattress. It conforms to my body and I don't wake up with pains anymore. Love this mattress.
This bed is incredibly comfortable. We got the adjustable base and it was absolutely the best purchase we made. I no longer experience back pain and I sleep better than I ever have. No complaints here, we could not be happier.
I am in love with my serta Icomfort! I had problems with my back hurting from previous mattress, and I don't have to worry about that anymore! It's comfortable and breathable so I don't wake up sweating! Highly recommend!!
Not sure when exactly I began to notice how uncomfortable this bed was, probably around the 9 month mark. My wife had actually begun complaining much sooner however I thought that may be there was supposed to be a "break-in" period so I was reluctant to say anything. At this point, the bed is very uncomfortable. It seems that my wife and I roll into each other when near the middle of the bed. And in it's entirety there simply isn't a place on the mattress that is in any way comfortable or capable of giving a restful nights sleep. It's routine now to wake with a stiff or stressed back. And as an aside, put lifting straps/handles on your mattresses. These mattresses are incredibly heavy and awkward. Lifting one is not easy without handles.
This is the best mattress ever ! I have back problems and this mattress makes me sleep amazing ! I sleep so sound all night and wake up so refreshed ! We recently lost everything we own in a freak flood ! The first thing I can't wait to buy is another Serta icomfort Savant mattress! We had it for approximately 5 yrs. It was still like the first time I slept on it ! I miss it so much , I got so spoiled sleeping so good on it ! I'm saving up to get another one as fast as I can ! It is my top priority to get another one as soon as possible! I miss my good night's rest so bad ! Sincerely A very satisfied customer!

I love that this mattress does not lose it's shape. I have owned it now for 4 years and it still feels like brand new. My last pillow top formed a well in the center after only a few years. I look forward to bedtime every night knowing I will have a great night sleep every time. Love my mattress!!

Memory foam is great. Much better than the pillow top we had before. Glad we chose the Savant.
