The Serta iComfort Recognition Plush is a soft mattress offering a flush cover layer, gel memory foam, and pocketed coils. It is softer so is best suited for lighter body types and side sleepers. Most folks like their Recognition, but some had issues with the durability.

Good individual support. The previous mattress was all foam and didn't provide good individual support after only a couple of years.
This mattress is the most comfortable mattress I ever had. I have very serious back problems and I can say I have never slept better in 15 years when the problems started. It is firm enough to provide great support yet soft and comfortable. It keeps cool at night which my last plush mattress didn't.
The Recognition Plush is an excellent mattress, well-constructed and affordable. We purchased two twin XLs for a split king with adjustable bases. The mattress is comfortable in any position so even if you use it on a non-adjustable system, you'll get the comfort and support you need. My wife's sleep has improved as has mine. Because of my arthritic back and hip, I may evaluate a firmer Serta option, which is another reason I went with Serta besides the quality I could trust. Serta offers a limited-time exchange policy if the mattress doesn't work out as expected. Great idea! Note not for display: I am over 65. I was unable to choose an age group greater than 45-54 in the drop down menu.
We purchased this mattress and adjustable frame in a king size. We absolutely love the support and comfort this mattress gives us! Between us both - we are side, tummy, and back sleepers and this mattress is great for them all! Loving the attention to all the details that were put into making this a great supportive mattress! The adjustable frame is also a HUGE plus, Thanks Serta for a great night's sleep :)
We chose the King Twin XL combination (split king) with the adjustable base. We have been impressed with the fact that our sleep is no longer interrupted when one of us moves or even gets up out of the bed. We are still adjusting to our mattresses, and finding that we were missing the support we needed in our former mattress. We also have noticed that we do not get as hot while sleeping, our body temperature stays very stable during the night.
I had a serta perfect sleeper before and loved it. I don't love this bed. I'm really not a fan of the memory foam and although the bed is a plush model, it's too firm for me. My husband loves it though. It's great for his back. I'm hoping that I'll get used to it.
I feel like I am sleeping on 2x4s!!! Plush is NOT a word I would use to describe this bed. I have pain in my back, hips, neck. I am 33!! It is awful . On the plus side, I don't seem to sweat at night like I did with our memory foam. :/

This is our 2nd Serta mattress and will more than likely be our last. We purchased it from a store that has now closed down and we are stuck with this very uncomfortable mattress. The only thing I can say about this mattress and boxspring is don't waste your money too much money for back pain. We saved a long time for this bed and have been extremely dissatisfied. Now that the store closed we are stuck!!!
