The Serta iComfort Recognition Extra Firm is crafted for those that expect a firm sleeping surface. For those that are stomach sleepers are heavier individuals, this mattress may be suitable for you. I love a firm mattress and this I comfort is exactly that.
I did some research before purchasing this bed and read many great reviews. I then tested the firmness at the mattress retailer and found the I Comfort that was perfect for me. My last bed was old and I was waking with a back ache from sleeping on it. Since I purchased the I Comfort, I sleep very comfortably with no back pain and wake refreshed every morning. I have had this bed for a few years and the comfort level has not changed. I love my I Comfort and would highly recommend it to everyone. They have several levels of firmness so you can find one that fits your needs. PS: I sleep with my dog and she has lots of active puppy dreams. Her wiggling does not keep me awake any longer because the memory foam absorbs the movement. Love, love, love this!
unbelievable
So far this is so awesome, for the extra firm its plush but firm, you don't sink like a ship, I sleep like a baby! the reason I bought this was because I was looking for the adjustable base, thinking my mattress would work, was not that old and loved it as it was, but wanted the adjustable base, so for the price and comfort I bought the whole package, the adjustable part is out of this world , once you try it in your bedroom youll be glad you spent that extra money, its an investment, you spend about one third of your life there. And you can spend a whole lot more but you all made it possible with the sale. 3400.00 bucks also awesome warranty. thanks Russell webster
Very Comfortable
Enjoying the hybrid, just enough gush with the padding, but the nice support of the springs! The extra firm is not really extra firm, but firm. If you like a firm bed, this one is for you! I also purchased the Motion Essentials foundation and am pleasantly surprised that I actually use it. From the automatic Ergo setting to my own, each night is something different depending on what I need.
Quality and affordability
After trying other similar products, comparing pricing and affordability, this was the best deal, have not slept this well in year's. Recommend this mattress to anyone with back problems who need a firm or extra firm mattress.
Overall very good
We both like firmness although you do seem to settle down a little after you lay still. This replaced a very old mattress which was wore out but was also a firm. I can't say it improved our sleep but we do sleep very well on this mattress. Onr problem was having to get new sheets because of the thickness of the mattress. We've only had two months so far but are well pleased at this point.

We had Silly, Pillow Top, Stern and Webster mattress in the past but we hear about Serta from some friends and we visited several store to check and we liked the Serta Recognition Firm mattress most. Though it is expensive but we liked the most this one so we purchase. It is only one month we had it but we do get a better sleep at night and we are enjoying this at present time.
exceptional quality
I love the firm but supportive nature of this product. My previous mattress developed 'divots' fairly quickly. So I up-graded my selection of a new mattress. I have serious back problems and I have slept very well on my new mattress. I feel supported and comfortable. I am much more limber and not so stiff and aching when I get up. Getting up and moving about is very much better. I really love this mattress. It fits me perfectly.

A great buy
Our old mattress was starting to sag, but it had once been quite firm. We went and tried this mattress (the extra firm hybrid) and it was exactly what we were looking for. It's not exactly "extra" firm either. If you like a firm mattress, this may be the one for you (as it was for us!)
Good support and better sleep
This hybrid combines the best of both worlds: Memory Foam and coils. The mattress works well on my adjustable frame and supports my back well. After a couple weeks of getting used to it, I sleep better than I have in years. My old mattress was a pillow top and quite curved, causing back and sciatic nerve problems. Since getting my new mattress these problems have improved and I have much less pain.
HIGH QUALITY
THE EXTRA FIRM IS GOOD FOR MY LOWER BACK. DID NOT HAVE ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE I COMFORT BUT TRIED VARIOUS MODELS IN STORE. SO FAR I AM VERY SATISFIED AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMED TO OTHERS.
Awesome product.
The mattresses are firm, comfortable and beautiful. My husband said he hadn't sleep this good in 7 years. He has low back pain and said his back was supported well on this mattress. We purchased two twin mattresses and adjustable frame. Love them.

A little too firm. I have more backaches than I did before. Very hard to get used to
SOARLY DISSAPOINTED
Purchased this product approximately 1 yr ago. It has developed depressions on both sides of bed. Not the quality I would have expected from Serta. This is the worst sleep surface I have ever owned. This mattress is killing my back.
