Earlier this month my wife and I tried many mattress before we settle on this unit. We tried it out in the store during earlier hours to have privacy. The display unit felt very good and had some give. It was a supportive firm with some give which is what we wanted. However when we got the mattress it was very hard. I'm 182 lbs and I decided to sleep on it for three days to see if it felt better. Still there was no give. I tried to put pressure in certain points and still no give. After consideration I decided to return this unit and go with a plush pillow top unit. I will say Sam's have been great with their customer service and I will continue to purchase mattress from them. They also have the best prices.
We visited all of the local mattress companies. Any mattress similar was a minimum of $800. We were about to get this mattress for an instant savings event for $450.
After purchasing the mattress, my fitness tracker watch showed my sleep went from an average of 40 minutes of restlessness to 15-20 minutes of restlessness which resulted in a HUGE difference in how I felt waking up in the mornings.
I also was concerned about the mattress sinking after reading several reviews. After 3 months of owning the mattress, there are zero signs of sinking on either side.
Purchased about a month ago and wanted to really get a feel for it. Only had the store display to try and get a feel for but could not get it. Was the firmest in the store and was really in need of one. The store doesn't have them in stock so we ordered it online. It was almost 3 weeks to deliver but the delivery guys were great. In and out in less then 15 minutes. New mattress came in fully wrapped and set up and old mattress wrapped and taken away. First night of sleeping was not to bad. Weather outside was still a bit cold and the mattress holds body heat a little more than I would like because of the memory foam top. We have been trying out different threads count sheets find a happy medium now that the weather outside is warming up. It's rated as one of the firmest but again the memory foam takes a full point from the 4.5 range out of 5. At best I see 3-4 years usage if the foam top holds out. If you are a warm body sleeper and like to have more than just a sheet to cover you, stay away from this foam top mattress. Now if you have very cold and snow filled winters this may be just what you are looking for.
I purchased this 6 months ago and it is extremely comfortable.
Never ordered a firm mattress before so didn't know what's to expect (from ness 1-2 scale). WE also bought a Queen Frmness 2-3. We slept on both matrasses and have concluded that this Firm mattress suits us best. Firm support keeps your back straight but not hard as a rock. I was worried that my wife might not like the firmness but so far so good. I was never a fan of memory squishy soft matrasess that allow your body to sink in. I prefer to keep my back straight and flat not curved.. So far we are happy with the purchase
We got this mattress to go with our new bed. I really like it and it is a nice firm mattress. In the store it seemed to have a little more of a pillow top, but I am still very happy with my purchase. I can always add an additional pillow topper if needed. The delivery was nice as well. They brought the set right in and took care of everything.
This was a replacement for a eleven year old Serta pillow top mattress. I trusted the brand and the price made this a no brainer. This mattress does not disappoint. I get my firm mattress for support with a soft memory foam top. The most restful sleep I have had in about 2 years.

I was concerned about buying this without being able to test it out in the store. But because of their return policy I decided to try it. For The first time in after I woke up feeling refreshed and with no stiffness or soreness. It's been a few months now and I'll still so happy with my purchase!

I bought about a month ago. Very happy with the mattress. I bought for the cooling feature and it really doesn't feel as hot as my old mattress but that could be a placebo effect. I haven't experienced any of the sagging on the edges other people described. I had it produced then delivered pretty quickly. Actually considering Harvey whipped through the state I actually expected the delivery to take longer but it was less than two weeks. Highly recommended. I did have the white glove delivery and my apartments signed for it -when I got there the mattress was in plastic wrap but covered in mud that I had to wipe and vacuum up so there's that. Not Sam's fault but I wouldn't exactly call that white glove delivery.
We were contacted about delivery, went as scheduled. The mattress is an exceptional value and as comfortable as any other high-end we have ever purchased. Yes, it is firm, but completely supports your body weight. Sam's Club is highly recommended!
This bed is an absolute "Perfect Sleeper" for me. My Chiropractor suggested a firm innerspring mattress with an egg crate topper and it is what I needed. I had called Serta and this is the bed they suggested. And for an added affirmation, Serta has a Sam's Club Serta Customer Service Rep that had given me additional insight to the product. I could not ask for better customer service in buying a mattress. Will take the same route in 8 years.
Purchased the mattress prior to leaving the country for 3wks. So, was very pleased that the delivery company was very flexible in accommodating our delivery time requirement. The mattress is exactly what we were looking for: firm, yet comfortable. It looks very durable, but only time will tell on this. Overall, cannot beat the value.
OMG!!! My wife and I just purchased this bed due to our pillowtop sinking. We decided to go Hydrid Firm with Serta. This bed is "Amazing" and I look forward to going to bed at night knowing my back and body will feel refreshed and energized the next morning. If you are looking for a heck of a deal and a great bed, look no further this is the one. On the contrary, if it doesn't work later (which can happen if it is a defect) we can always return it and find something else. Lol.
We purchased our mattress in early February. Online purchase and delivery went great no issues. The mattress itself is wonderful. Yes it is "firm", but that is what I was looking for in a mattress. However, with the memory foam it's gives you the necessary comfort that you need.
Compared many mattresses and finally settled on the Serta Oakbridge Firm. If you are looking foe a firm mattress with great support this one is very good. Came down to this and the Serta Applause. Both nice but this one is a little firmer.
Bought this under the impression it would be firm. After a few months there's dips and lumps and the side foam wrap is like a sponge consistency. Sit on the edge and it flattens out like there's no mattress under you. This is the first and last Serta I have ever owned and after a few months it's trash. I will do extra research the next time.
Oakbridge nice extra firm mattress. Could use stronger outside edge reinforcement so it wouldn't sag when you sit on edge of bed to put on shoes etc
I took back a two year Serta mattress due to sagging and got this Luxury Oakbridge 11. First impression? FANTASTIC! Great support and comfort and I love the firmness. One complaint I noticed from more than one review was the edges sagging from sitting on the edge of the bed in a short amount of time. I don't sit on the edge of my new bed I just roll out and get up. I've had my NEW Oakbridge 11 for only five weeks and the side I get out on is already showing sagging on the edge...BUMMER! This really is disappointing for this bed is really a nice bed. So, I am already working with the manager at the Sams Club to switch it out for if this is sagging on the edges in only five weeks what in the world is it going to look like in six months? Yes I would recommend this..it's just the edges are my concern.
My husband and I bought this mattress 4 months ago thinking it was going to be as firm as it says it is, it took me a while to leave this review because I wanted to be sure it didnt work for us. We both suffer from back problems and need a real firm mattress. Well at first it did its job but now not only is not firm anymore but has some dents and the holes remain on the mattress when we wake up (I`m 130pounds) I was trying to get in touch with customer service but they never answer my emails so basically I have to deal with a poor quality mattress and sore backs after spending almost $1000 for this mattress
Received this mattress a week ago; was fine for the first two days, but noticed it was getting hard to get comfortable at night because of my sore back. Was waking up in the morning with a sore back also which was getting worse every day. There was a large indentation or sink hole where the area of my hips/lower back. Mattress does feel firm at first but the longer you lay on it, maybe because of too much memory foam (?) you end up with areas that are resting in a hole. (under 120 lb weight person) Am returning this for a different model with less memory foam but because the delivery takes 3-4 weeks, have nothing to sleep on for a month. Also the mattress advertises no movement disturbance from your partner - not true; the smallest movement disrupts the entire mattress. Mattress was not a good experience and would not recommend it.
I never imagined this mattress to be so great. Not only do I sleep deeply through the night, the added unexpected bonus for my husband and me is that there is absolutely no "motion exchange" that happens when either of us turns in bed, so now the other one now sleeps soundly without interruption when either of us turns over. What an awesome, comfortable, amazing mattress! Perfect sleep in the Perfect Sleeper Oakbridge Luxury Firm Mattress. Recommend highly.
Given that I have purchased Serta mattress and box spring sets in the past the mattress met my expectations, however the box spring that accompanied the set purchased at Sam's was of inferior quality. The box spring was not a Serta product, had sharp wire springs protruding from the fabric, and the cloth backing on the box spring frame was not attached to the wood frame in several spots. I have petitioned Sam's for an actual Serta replacement. I purchased Serta with the intent of receiving a quality product. Unfortunately I would not recommend the set given the poor quality of the box spring.
I put off buying a new mattress because of the prices but I'm so glad I bought this mattress. I'm 5'3" and have degenerative disc disease. I've bought a million pillows but nothing takes the place of this mattress. I'm dreaming again and I wake up in the same position I went to sleep in. My next favorite thing is when I get near the edge...I don't roll off! The edge is great to sit on and change your clothes or just catch your breath.
Returned the mattress set after 3 month of use. The mattress is too firm gives you severe body ache. Don't recommend.

Everything is perfect, except the when I seat around the edges it sinks, little bit, other than that good mattress.
We have 3 Serta Kendalls in our guest rooms. Our Guests and Grandchildren love them.
Which King mattress, for ourselves, now replaced the Kendall, which is evidently no longer produced?
