We bought this same mattress/box spring for our vacation home two years ago and loved it so much we bought this one for our home. It's very supportive with a firm inside and a soft top that cradles your body. I am mostly a side sleeper and this mattress does not cause any hip or shoulder pain. My sister and my adult daughter have both slept in our vacation bed and just rave about how great it is. It does take a little while before it softens up. When we got our first mattress I thought they sent the wrong one because it didn't feel like the one in the store but after a week or so it relaxed and was perfect. Sweet Dreams!

My husband and I originally purchased a queen in firm with the adjustable base. We had to return the mattress as it was way too firm and small. We had an option for a one time exchange within 120 days which we did and upgraded to the Merit in King. We spent hours in the store trying different models
I have had my Ceremony SPT (now called the Merit SPT) king size mattress set for 3 years now, and still do not have a single issue with this bed! I consider myself a bigger guy, 6'4" and 210 lbs, but i wanted a mattress that had enough give for my shoulder and hip because i'm a side sleeper. I chose this bed because it is a firmer style pillow top, it's soft yet very supportive.
