The Serta iComfort Applause II Plush has soft memory foam on the surface layer followed by a pocketed coil support system underneath. It sleeps soft for most sleepers, which is great for side sleepers or people with lighter builds. Most folks like their Applause, but some had issues with the durability and feel.

Comfortable Mattress
We have only had the mattress for four nights, but I have not need time to adjust to the new mattress. My wife did have some difficulty sleeping on the mattress the first night, but she seems to have adjusted to the new mattress and is getting a good night's sleep. I find the mattress comfortable and supportive. Over the past four nights, I have been sleeping through the night. I wake up in the morning feeling well-rested. The design of the mattress also prevents my wife and I from feeling each other's movements while we are sleeping. My initial impression of the mattress is positive, and I hope the mattress continues to impress and provide many more restful nights of sleep.

So comfortable
By far this is the best mattress we have ever purchased. Extremely comfortable the very first night no break in time, no getting used to a new mattress with this one. We haven't had the best of luck with our previous mattress purchases so we where very skeptical and nervous about this one. What a pleasant surprise!
Excellent
We received the new set a few weeks ago, and just love it. We had an older memory foam mattress and wasn't sure if we should have stayed with memory foam or change to a spring based mattress. When we happened upon the Hybrid we thought that would be a perfect fit, and it has been. We have been sleeping much sounder and with out all the tossing an turning we have had in the past. We feel much more rested in the morning, and haven't had the morning aches I use to experience getting out of bed.
The most instantly comfortable bed I have ever owned
My wife and I have suffered with stiffness, aches and pains caused by our existing bed for a long time. We knew we needed to replace it but loathed mattress shopping. So many choices and making the wrong one would be expensive as well. After hearing about the icomfort hybrids and trying them is several stores we decided on the applause II with the serta adjustable base. From The very first evening those aches and pains were gone and no morning stiffness. It also stays cool at night. We love it
Best mattress I ever had.
I was having a hard time sleeping at nights so I decided to buy a new mattress to see if that would help. I bought a serta applause II plush queen mattress and it made a world of difference. I was finally being able to sleep at night.

We have only slept on it one night. We slept better than we have for a while. We are very satisfied with it. Not too firm and not too soft. Our old one was worn out.

Best Mattress ensemble!!!!!
Its been 17 years since we purchased a mattress. We used to swear by "Kingsdown", however, were drawn to this due to a display in a local furniture store. My husband and I were not at the store shopping for a new mattress, however, after laying on the Serta, we could not stop thinking about this mattress. Its been a few weeks and we absolutely love this product! It has helped our sleep improve immensely. The only negative of this product is it is so comfortable we do not want to get out of it.

I find the bed very comfortable. Having arthritis I have been having trouble sleeping. This bed so far seems to be helping. Nice to get a good nights sleep.

love our Serta iconfort Hybrid System
We purchased the icomfort hybrid plush mattress in a king size along with a Serta adjustable divided base. After the very first night we new we made the right choice because all of the usual morning aches and stiffness were gone and the amount of tossing and turning throughout the night ceases. The mattress is very comfortable , supportive, cool and doesn't transmit much movement at all. The base is easy to use and adds ever more comfort features ( zero gravity, presets, vibrating sections,etc ) making this a combination a great sleep "system". Hoping to enjoy these for many many years.
Sleeping on a Cloud!
It is amazing how much better I am sleeping! The quality of my sleep has improved and I am sleeping longer...no waking up in the middle of the night. And the mattress is just so comfortable and so soft. I really liked my old Sert mattress but I love this one! I highly recommend this mattress... I literally feel like I am sleeping on a cloud...

I HAVE OWNED SERTA MATTRESSES FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS AND SEE NO REASON TO CHANGE. THE QUALITY IS EXCELLANT AND THE ICOMFORT HYBRID COLLECTION IS WONDERFUL...THE ONLY PROBLEM IS I DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED!

Very good quality and sleep
Product was better than I expected for buying on the internet. my mother needed a lower profile mattress and this 8 inch mattress more than met her expectations.
Great once you get used to it
Coming from a completely memory foam mattress this hybrid took a few weeks to get used to. But once I did I slept so much better and felt better rested each morning.
Too firm for me
This is a nice mattress however it is too firm for me and I'm now in my 3rd purchase in two years. I'm now considering a all foam /gel mattress ...
