Naturepedic's Owner Satisfaction
Online reviews and customer sentiment are great ways to figure out if you want to spend more time researching a specific product. Reviewers overall have positive things to say about these mattresses, but there are some that didn't share the same experience. Look at the details below to see if one of these will work for you.
Naturepedic's Supportiveness
Having a supportive mattress is essential to getting the most out of your night's sleep. These mattresses provide a supportive sleeping surface -- above average in the industry. This is important if you don't have a supportive sleeping surface right now. Most reviewers report that these mattresses are supportive overall.
Edge Support
Edge support is the measure of how much support there is along the sides of the mattress. Customers report that these mattresses have good edge support overall, but some folks may notice more sinking along the side of the mattress.
Bowling Ball & Density Tests
The bowling ball test provides a good measurements of mattress firmness. It also is good for those that want to discover if a mattress has even support or if there are peaks and valleys in a mattress. Overall, these mattresses will provide an even surface to sleep on.
Naturepedic's Durability
All of us wants a mattress that really lasts, but some brands care more about selling their products than focus on long term quality. That being said, these mattresses get good marks from reviewers on durability. Most folks are still comfy in their mattress after 5 years, but some heavier folks may see their mattress degrade faster.
Nest Bedding's Owner Satisfaction
It is important to have great customer review ratings from sleepers. These mattresses receive more praise from sleepers than many others, which should make you feel good in learning more about their specifics. Research on below to discover if this mattress will work for you!
Nest Bedding's Supportiveness
Mattress support is the most important thing to maintain a healthy back while you sleep. You want a mattress that makes you feel refreshed and doesn't cause back aches. These mattresses provide the kind of support that works with your body.
Edge Support
For those folks that like to sit or lie close to the side of the mattress, edge support is very important. These mattresses are good at edge support and don't feel much different than in the center of the mattress.
Bowling Ball & Density Tests
Popular among customers, the bowling ball test does a good job showing if a mattress is firm and its evenness of support. If a mattress doesn't have even response, there may be some discomfort. Luckily, these mattresses have good ratings here and shouldn't have that as a problem.
Nest Bedding's Durability
In terms of durability, these mattresses are quite competitive versus the competition. For buyers looking for mattress, finding one that has good durability can mean years of additional sleep. while one that fails quickly can mean endless back pain. For most sleepers, these mattresses will last between 7 - 12 years on average, which is good for contemporary mattresses. Those that are heavier than average or use their mattresses more than once a day may experience a slight decrease in durability.

LOVE this mattress
We love this mattress. I was very worried about buying a mattress for my 2 year old because in the past when I've bought traditional mattresses, the off-gassing took months (that was before I knew better about the horrible chemicals in mattresses). My son had a Naturepedic crib mattress and the transition to the Naturepedic twin mattress was a good choice. When the mattress was delivered we set it up in his room and he was able to use it that very night. No off-gassing horrible chemicals, no bad smells. What a relief! I'm very sensitive to chemical smells so I was happy to not have to deal with that here. We started off on the firm side of the mattress for my 2 year old, but it was very hard. He's been sleeping on the firm side for 1 month, but he keeps waking up at night. We also found that he was trying to put his entire body on his pillow, so we thought he would prefer a softer feel. A few days ago we flipped it over to the quilted side and that feels much better. We still need to get a waterproof pad for it, since the quilted side is not waterproof and he's not yet potty-trained. I would not hesitate to purchase this mattress again. It was very expensive, but if he uses it for 10 years, that's only $75/year. Well worth the peace of mind.

You won't regret this purchase.
I was nervous when I purchased this mattress because many reviews say it is too firm. Is it firm? Yes. Uncomfortable? No. My son went from a conventional plastic-y crib mattress to this mattress. This one is considerably softer and more comfortable. I lay with him at night as he falls asleep, and I am not uncomfortable on the mattress. I have had no complaints. In fact, we are thinking of buying one for each of our other children. This is a great mattress and is one of the most affordable non-toxic mattresses available. It is firm but not uncomfortable. I highly recommend!
If you loved the Naturepedic crib mattress, you'll love this one too!
This is a fantastic kid's mattress that made for a seamless transition from the Naturepedic crib mattress. If you're unfamiliar with these mattresses and are accustomed to soft, plush "grown-up" mattresses, you may find this too firm or too stark. However, it's perfect for a kid's growing body. There is no worry of off-gassing or chemical smells - it came right out of the box and onto the bed with no airing out time. The waterproof side is great, with a nice texture that is nothing like a plastic-y waterproof pad. This is a high-quality mattress made from high-quality materials that will leave everyone sleeping well at night!
Best choice in organic kid mattresses
Ordered this mattress after much research and debate. I am happy with my decision. The mattress was not too firm as other reviews remarked, and is actually almost softer than I wanted because I was hoping the firmer the mattress the longer it will last. It is certainly much softer than the 2-sided naturepedic crib mattress. I bought this for my son transitioning to a big boy bed and expect it to last through childhood. I believe it will and it is very comfortable. We are using the waterproof side which I LOVE. It protects the top and sides without having an awful crunchy, noisy sound or feeling. There was a slight natural odor as some commented in reviews but only if you put your nose to the bed and you can't smell it from the waterproof side. Certainly no strong odor or chemical smell. It is expensive, but compared to adult organic, non-toxic mattresses it is much cheaper and I felt was worth the investment for my son's health and my peace of mind.
Feels Lumpy
12/13/2015 Update: After receiving an email from Naturepedic that the mattress I purchased was defective, I ordered a new one. We've had the mattress for about five months now. No issues with lumpiness. However, I feel like the outer trim of the mattress is starting to loose it's shape/looking bent. I don't believe this is normal wear-and-tear because I've never had this issue with my other mattress. =( I was excited to purchase this matress for my toddler as her new big girl bed; however, I was disappointed with the product for a few reasons: 1) I grew up sleeping on very firm mattresses. I prefer them and enjoy them. Although firm, something about this mattress made it quite uncomfortable. It's just too firm. 2) The discomfort of the firm mattress could be that it feels lumpy. It seems like individual springs can be felt while laying on the bed and shifting positions. 3) The waterproof side of the matress seemed loud. The cover was not taught, so when I moved my arms across it, it was as if I was laying on vinyl plastic that can be heard when moving. I purchased a NP crib mattress and had no problems with its quality; however, the twin mattress was a big disappointment. If you have a recommendation for a quality organic mattress, please share.
Barely used and it is falling apart - EXTREMELY disappointing purchase
I never write reviews but I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this mattress. We've had it for just over a year now and we still have not transitioned my toddler to the bed so this mattress has only been slept on a handful of times by the occasional house guest. When we first received this mattress I noticed that it elevated in the center so it almost felt as if you were rolling down hill on either side of the mattress. I thought perhaps this was because it was new and that it would settle down over time but sadly it hasn't. Also the sides of the mattress are sagging. It's almost as if the side of the mattress totally collapses on itself when you sit on it. I flipped the mattress over to the non-potty training side and it weirdly lumpy. I wanted to love this mattress. I paid more for this mattress than I wanted to because I trusted the brand and I definitely wanted an organic mattress. But I'm sad to say that this mattress was not even close to what we were hoping for. We wanted a mattress our toddler could grow up on, now I'm going to have to buy him a new mattress before he even gets a chance to use it.
Expensive, but worth every penny!
Since infancy, my now 3 year-old daughter has slept on a Naturepedic crib mattress in her crib and toddler bed. So when she recently transitioned to a twin-sized "big girl" bed (Charleston Solid Hardwood Platform Bed Frame - Twin Size), Naturepedic was our first choice for a mattress that we knew would be free of chemical flame retardants. We opted for the 2-in-1 mattress instead of the single-sided one for $100 cheaper because we knew from experience (with the crib mattress) that it's 100-times easier to wipe up accidents from the waterproof fabric of the mattress itself, than to have to remove a separate mattress pad and throw it in the wash. Plus, many waterproof mattress pads are made of PVC/vinyl, a toxic plastic the emits phthalate fumes that you don't want your child inhaling in their sleep! The waterproof side of the Naturepedic mattress is made of food-grade polyethylene, which is non-toxic and doesn't give off any harmful fumes. Yes, the waterproof side of the mattress is somewhat firm, but not excessively so, and most importantly, my daughter has never complained about being uncomfortable. After all, she spent the first 3+ years of her life sleeping on an ultra-firm crib mattress, so she doesn't know any differently when it comes to sleeping surfaces. Plus, pediatricians recommend a firm mattress for younger kids, whose bones and skeletal structures are still developing. Once my daughter is older (and fully nighttime potty-trained!), we'll flip the mattress over and use the quilted side. This mattress was recently put to the test and passed with flying colors! A few weeks after we bought it, my daughter had an upset stomach in the middle of the night. She threw up a total of 4 times, soaking her pajamas and bed sheets, but the waterproof surface of this Naturepedic mattress completely withstood it all. Each time, all we needed to do was to wipe the surface of the mattress with Seventh Generation Disinfecting Multi-Surface Wipes, 70 Count, change the sheets and put her back to bed. We wouldn't have had enough mattress pads to cope with all the throw-ups that she had. In short, this mattress helped make a rough night a little less difficult for all of us. I highly recommend it. Grade: A
Good for Allergies; Hard Though
Switching to this mattress stopped an allergic reaction I was having to my memory foam mattress (all the chemicals!). So in that respect, 5 stars. But this mattress is very hard, so I had to buy a latex mattress topper to be able to sleep on it.
HARD
My 13 year old wanted a really firm mattress, so we bought him this one. He even wanted the firmer side up. That lasted a day. So we flipped it to the "less firm" side, which was still way too hard. The two sides are board v. Heavy blanket on board. We wound up buying him a 3" featherbed. I still find it too hard, but he likes it now, though, and finds it just right. The featherbed made all the difference.
Well made but extra firm
We purchased this mattress for our now 3 year-old son. I have read that sleeping on an extra firm mattress is good for growing bodies, but I must say that as a mother laying next to him at bedtime, it feels a bit uncomfortable. That being said, our son has never complained, and it has been almost 6 months since he started sleeping on it. Naturepedic has a good price for an organic mattress, so we will simply purchase an organic topper for comfort when he needs it.
Great idea. Not that comfortable.
I really like the idea of this bed and the fact that it doesn't have most of the nasty chemicals in it that other beds do. That said this is not the most comfortable bed. Its heavy and feels bouncy. My little boy doesn't seem to mind it, but it just isn't that comfortable of a bed.
uncomfortable
I hate to give a low rating to a company that makes a matress with little or no fire retardants, but, this mattress was very uncomfortable. It felt like an old crib matress. Even on the softer side of the mattress, you could feel every spring.
Five Stars
Great mattress for our 2 year old. No chemical smells, and nice cleanable surface.
This has been great for my daughter
This has been great for my daughter. Feels like a regular mattress. It has held up very well, despite my daughter jumping on it at least weekly, and sometimes with her friends (it is on the floor for safety reasons). I would give it 5 stars if it were cheaper....seemed a little bit more expensive than it needed to be.
Great item and seller!
This is the second time I have purchased this item and I am very happy with it. As described & well packaged. I would recommend this product and seller.
And sleep comfortably knowing my kids are not exposed to harmful chemicals
I have three of these that I have purchased over the years for my three kids. Outstanding quality and complete satisfaction. Never had to offgas it. And sleep comfortably knowing my kids are not exposed to harmful chemicals. This mattress is supported by the environmental working group.
Excellent. Item was purchased for 2 year old
Excellent. Item was purchased for 2 year old. Used on the floor (montessori inspired) with a low profile boxspring. Child sleeps well and I've even fell asleep on it. Very expensive but worth the cost. No odors or new mattress smell.
comfortable and quite dense so I imagine it will hold ...
The bed was purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter because my daughter felt it was important for her to have an organic mattress. We chose this one because it was mid-price and had one waterproof side. Also free shipping with Amazon prime! The bed seems to be very supportive, comfortable and quite dense so I imagine it will hold up well for many years.
Five Stars
great product!!
Great buy
Bought this for my 2 year old son. There is no chemical smell with this mattress which is 1 reason why I purchased. My daughters mattress from a regular mattress brand was purchased 3 years ago and still stinks like chemicals when I take the sheets and cover off. This mattress is also great with the waterproof side that actually works and is easy to clean. Comfortable and my son loves it
Good organic product.
Not for those with aches and pains, but good for kids! We have a twin and a full size of this brand and are very happy. We also bought real mattress protectors since the mattresses are expensive, but so worth it.
great mattress
Few people realize the dangerous chemicals in traditional mattresses. It may see like a huge expense to spring for the organic mattress, but it's well worth it knowing that your child is not inhaling toxins while s/he sleeps. As far as organic mattresses go, this one is extremely comfortable. The vendor, "Elephant Ears" I think it was called was excellent and offered free shipping, which saved me $150. This was a very good buy. My baby sleeps like a baby in it.
Five Stars
Excellent quality and finish. Perfect for toddler transitioning from naturepedic infant mattress.
Five Stars
Fits great for a 3 year old. No smell as others stated
Great Mattress
This mattress is great. We don't think it is at all hard as other reviewers have complained. If you want a super deep pillow top type mattress then this probably isn't the one for you, but for a high quality, comfortable, basic organic mattress this one fits perfectly.
Loyal Customer
Love Naturepedic! Wish they made a king size!!
Comfy, safe and reasonably priced
I bought these for my twins after they grew out of their cribs. I had also used Naturepedic mattresses in their cribs. These mattresses are comfortable and reasonably priced for organic, chemical free mattresses. I would always recommend this brand and will buy this brand for my bed when it's time to replace our current mattress.
Five Stars
Fabulous bed! Zero odor, soft Quilting, natural materials.
Great!
Great service, love these mattresses. Hopefully it lasts 20 years!
Four Stars
A little bit too hard on one side.
Hard as a rock
I bought two of these mattresses for my daughters (age 7 and 11) thinking that the the firmness shouldn't be an issue for bodies as light as they are. I love the fact that they are organic, and that they have a water proof side which is good for the earlier, bed-wetting ages. However, they are so hard that my daughters complain about them. I tried a thin topper, and that didn't work. I eventually bought a 3 inch organic foam topper for one of the mattresses and that did the trick for my older daughter. However, the cost worked out such that I would have been better off getting an organic foam mattress to start with.
Four Stars
Great mattress, a little on the firm side which is what I was looking for.
I feel safe, but man it's expensive!
I bought this mattress because it was chemical-free, and I feel really good about that. I thought it was hypoallergenic, but when I received it, noticed that it had side vents. When I called the company about this, they tried to tell me that dust mites stay on the top layer only, so they offered a mattress pad. I'm a physician, and I wasn't happy with that response. I had to buy an additional hypoallergenic cover. It's nice that one side is waterproof, and the other side cottony. I've had the mattress for about a year now for my two year old. It sagged a bit immediately, and the top layer is a bit loose. These are made on a one-by-one basis, and made to order, so I guess that's ok. I thought this would last him 'til high school, but now I'm not so sure. It hurts my back to sleep on it because it's rather firm. After a year, it seems to have an odd-rice-homey sort of smell. Not sure I would buy again because of the price. Maybe all natural/chemical free mattresses sag?! I gave it four stars instead of three because at the time of purchase, there were not a lot of options out there for safer mattresses.
Awesome organic mattress
This is our second Naturepedic twin mattress, and we've also purchased multiple crib mattresses. We always love them, and feel good about our kids burying their faces in this organic, harsh-chemical free mattress. I read through the reviews, but have to disagree that this mattress is too firm, at least, not for a child. I bought it for my preschooler, and little kids often use firmer mattresses. I've fallen asleep on it multiple times and think it's fine, and my kids sleep well on these. I love that one side is water-proof for now, and that we can flip it over for a softer side for when the kids are a bit older. I have no complaints at all. UPDATE: At age 6, my son did start to complain that his mattress was too hard. It was wonderful to be able to simply flip his mattress over from the water-proof side to the softer side and please him without having to buy a new mattress! I also have to add that Naturepedic stands behind their lifetime guarantee. After less than 6 months, a spring had somehow rotated itself sideways in our second of these mattresses and was poking to the side. We don't know why or how this happened, but we wrote to Naturepedic and sent them pictures, and they immediately sent us a new mattress. No charge, no hassle. Very, very pleased.
Five Stars
Great mattress.
Cheaper from Amazon than the company's own website!
It was pretty weird to buy a mattress online, but I had no luck finding a local store that sold organic (or just non-toxic) mattresses. I really wanted my son to have a mattress that wouldn't be harmful to his health. This one fits the bill, and it seems to be the least expensive option out there. The manufacturer's own website has it listed for $100 more than Amazon, plus they charge $75 shipping. I was pleased with Amazon's price and the free shipping (from Pennsylvania to California, no less!) The mattress is firm, but comfortable. My 3-year-old son has been sleeping just fine on it. I took a nap on it one day, and I noticed it was firmer than my own mattress.... but I slept just fine.
I really wanted to love this mattress
I really wanted to love this mattress. Organic was a priority for me and when reading the reviews it seemed perfect. Unfortunately, the mattress I received is hollow. There is absolutely no support in the middle of this mattress and if an adult was to lay on it, it caves dramatically in the center. I have no idea if my particular mattress is defective but I am definitely disappointed in the product.
Comfortable & Organic!
I did a lot of research on mattresses and the incidences of sids when my daughter was born, and ultimately went with an organic crib mattress. When it came time to getting her a big girl bed, I had a very hard time finding full organic mattresses. Not one store in my entire city sells them. So I turned online, and researched every brand I could find. I needed an organic mattress that was not based with latex, and so many of them are. I'm allergic to latex, and fear my daughter will eventually share that allergy. Naturepedic is the brand I continued to come back to, as the best option on the market. Expensive, yes, but there are others that are far more, and none that are less that are made of cotton and not latex. What made me hesitate the most in my purchase is the reviews that said the mattress was too firm. I looked into organic mattress toppers that could help with that, but even those were a small fortune. Finally, I decided to go with this mattress. So glad I did, excellent choice. It is NOT too firm or too hard, it's extremely comfortable. It's possible that they made changes since some of these reviews were posted, to make it less hard. I have a terrible back & hip, and this mattress is comfortable to me. My daughter absolutely melts into it, and sleeps wonderfully! It had zero smell when we opened it - no off gassing, no need to air it out at all. When reading reviews, read the newest ones first. Because I think changes were made to this mattress to make it even better. For us, it's a non-toxic, organic, comfortable, odorless option for a mattress. I really think this one is your best bet!
Great Quality
I was slightly worried about ordering this mattress after reading a couple of reviews stating it was rock hard. I went ahead and ordered it anyway because my daughter has chemical sensitivities, and this was the least expensive, safest option I could find for her. I am happy to report that this mattress, while firm, is indeed comfortable enough- I actually fell asleep while laying with my daughter at bedtime and had a very restful night. My back and hips also felt great when I woke. My daughter slept like a rock and didn't stir until morning. I also noticed that, while I am usually a mouth breather when I sleep, it was very easy for me to breathe through my nose last night. This could be due to the newness of the mattress and the absence of dust mites, but I think the lack of chemicals is probably a contributing factor (I usually start sneezing whenever I walk into a store that sells new furniture because of the off-gassing chemicals). My daughter's nose seemed to stay clear as well. This was a big expenditure for us, but I'm glad we did it because now we have peace of mind that our little girl has a healthy place to sleep until she reaches adulthood. When we can afford it, I'd love to get a Naturepedic for the master bedroom as well.
We used mattress for 6 months - and had to throw it in the garbage
We used mattress for 6 months - but it still had very strong and irritating smell. When we contacted naturepedic - we were told that nothing can be done. We cut the mattress and here is what we foun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvUF5LSzIJo Please watch before you buy!

King Alexander Series
Purchased this bed a couple weeks ago and wanted to give it some time to make sure before I wrote a review. This Bed is Fantastic! I did so so so much research and reading of reviews on beds to make sure I picked the right one. I'm still trying to figure out what some of the two star reviews are talking about. I'm almost mad they made me so nervous about purchasing the bed. I purchased the King in medium firmness and it is so comfortable....to the point that I was late for work one day which never happens! Keep in mind, my last bed was an old spring one with a memory foam topper. I think what really sold me was the customer service. The people that I talked to on the live chat were super awesome. I spent 10 minutes talking to one guy about my body weight and trying to decide which level firmness I should go with. Another company I was leaning toward was more expensive and didn't have any Black Friday deals. This wasn't a problem but the way they told me was. They went on about how they are a true mattress company unlike these "phony" other ones and that's why they don't give deals.... and you had to pay 100 bucks for delivery. anyway the customer service was fantastic and in my opinion that wins out every time, especially when it comes to returning something. In conclusion, mattress is great, I'm hoping to be able to get their pillows some day.
Very comfortable bed but sleeps hot
I wrote a review before for the Alexander signature bed, but it did not get posted. It was either too long or nest bedding didn't like what I said. I ordered the bed in the king size and medium firmness. At first the medium felt very hard and I had to check the tag on the bed to confirm it was medium. After a few weeks the bed softens up very nicely. Overall the alexander signature is extremely supportive and provided great pressure relief. the main issue my wife and I had was the bed slept very hot. We purchased a foundation from nest that was breathable (we were using new tempurpedic flat foundations). We also purchased bamboo sheets, wool comforter and linen duvet cover and four different bed protectors (two waterproof and cooling and two non-waterproof and cotton). Using the organic cotton bed protector the bed was cool enough to sleep on on most days. Ultimately we returned the bed for the hybrid latex. The bed would be a 5 star product if it slept cooler.
Overall a good bed
I returned my signature hybrid bed for the signature series "medium" because the hybrid did not feel enough like memory foam for me. The new mattress feels much more like a memory foam bed but maybe not quite to the level I was hoping. The mattress does sleep bit warm but overall comfortable. Customer service has been great.
Great bed and really helps
Great bed and really helps with my back problems
Incredible support/ pressure relief
I purchased the signature series medium firmness in the king size. I had very high hopes for this bed. I purchased a $2k bed from Denver Mattress about 1.5 yrs ago and have suffered from back pain the entire time. The Alexander arrived from FedEX (dumped in my driveway. Not nest bedding fault, but a lazy fedex driver). When I opened the box there was minimal offgasing, which went away quickly. I originally put the Alexander on a solid tempurpedic foundation. The bed at first felt much firmer then a medium. So much so that my wife wanted me to send the bed back after one day. After about a week the bed softened up very nicely and is a true medium. After the bed broke in a bit it was with out a doubt the most comfortable bed I've every slept in. The only problem was, my wife and I were waking up every night extremely hot. We were both so hot that it was hard to sleep. We tried two different cooling waterproof bed protectors, and a regular pillow-top non-waterproof cotton protector and bamboo sheets. The cooling protectors made the bed sleep hotter. I then purchased an organic stretch knit cotton protector (non-waterproof), the nestbedding foundation (which is very breathable) and the bed did sleep cooler (although I spent hundreds of dollars at this point). By this time I had already ordered the latex hybrid bed from nest to replace the signature bed. Ultimately, I highly recommend the Alexander signature bed to anyone looking for amazing support and an amazing feeling bed. However, if you sleep very hot you might want to look at the hybrid or latex beds. Also, nest beding was very easy to work with on the replacement. They had me donate the Alexander signature bed. I was able to find a very deserving couple that was sleeping on a 30 yr old mattress that are beyond happy they received this bed. Customer service was excellent from Nestbedding. If the bed slept cooler it would be a 5 star review.
The best mattress I've ever
The best mattress I've ever purchased!!!
Super comfy mattress!!!
Really liking this mattress, it's been great to sleep on. So much support and nice and thick. It definitely still smells like memory foam though even after having it for more than a month. I let it air out for a couple of days before using and can still smell it. This varies from mattress to mattress I'm sure but just be aware it can happen.
Alexander bed
Happy but at the moment having trouble with my shoulders hurting maybe needs to be softer. Contemplating ordering a king size if I can correct the shoulder ache
Love this bed...
Bought this mattress because our $3500 Tempurpedic became senile and lost its memory after only eight years. This Alexander Signature series mattress has been great right out of the box. We have been sleeping on it now for about 6 weeks and NO complaints. We highly recommend this mattress & company. Fast , friendly, knowledgeable service.
Great bed
Ordered online, wasn't sure I'd like it, but everything turned out great. Super soft and comfortable... my mom likes it better than her bed.
Extremely Comfortable
We have recently purchased the Alexander Signature series bed, and holy cow, I noticed a difference in sleep within the first week. I felt more rested, and it was sure comfy. It was really easy to take out of a box and move from the apartment building mail office to our apartment. The box ripped while we were carrying it, but it almost made it easier to grip the round mattress than the handles on the box. I would definitely recommend this mattress and nest bedding to whoever is talking about buying a new mattress. We also were able to try it out at an online mattress showroom we have in the Twin Cities called Sleep Sherpa. So if you are not from Minnesota, look up to see if there are any of those type stores by you!
Nest, Alexander series
Shipped quickly and neatly. Love the mattress, it needs a little time to mold into a custom fit the sleeper, and now after the adjustment period, I am finding more peaceful and restful sleeps. Love the financing tool as well! Super quick and easy.
Love the Alexander (soft) !
This was our 2nd purchase from Nest for our guest bedroom. We love the Alexander soft and the service Nest also provides. Thank you!
No regrets with purchase
Excellent. Well built/designed and no damage/flaws. I really am happy with this purchase, sleeping has improved and this is extremely comfortable. Sleepopolis was a fantastic resource for study. I chose this over five others. Very difficult decision, but again, I have no regrets.
Love our new mattress
Excellent customer service throughout the order process and all arrived as expected and on time. Bed is super comfy!
Favorite Memory Foam Matress
I’ll start by saying that I prefer a spring matress over memory foam but for a foam matress this is far and away my favorite I have slept on. Tried another brand and returned it as it was too firm for my preferences.
Signature Hybrid medium
So soft. A guy my size, 230 5'9'' sink right in. Great on wife's shoulders as a side sleeper. I myself prefer a bit more firm but highly recommend this mattress and Nest bedding for that matter. Great customer service and great communication.
Love it. A great nights

We have had the signature medium for about a month, king size. When we first got it, it was really firm, I couldn’t even sleep on it. But, it has softened up a bit, but no much. I have to say that I have since gotten used to it, and I actually find it very comfortable. I am used to sleeping on a pillow top soft mattress, so the transition was difficult, but worth it in the end. I sleep more soundly, and my arms don’t fall asleep anymore. I am a side sleeper, and no more back and hip pain. I do however, wish it was just slightly softer. If you are looking for a softer matress and are stuck between the soft and medium, the medium to me is slightly on the firmer side. I am 5’7”, about 140 lbs. my husband is around 200, but he can sleep on anything. Overall great mattress.
Alexander King Soft
I was hesitant to try buying a mattress online. I'm glad I did and I wish I hadn't waited so long. This mattress is not as soft as our last one but after sleeping on it a few nights, I realized that it is more supportive but still soft enough to snuggle into. Our previous mattress (from a retail store) in retrospect was too soft, didn't give enough support and was twice as expensive. This is a much better buy. My husband and I both love the new mattress. I'm glad I didn't go with the medium, it wouldn't have been plush enough for me. This feels more like a medium soft mattress. It was easy to set up. It's been over a month now and so far so great!
Firm Support on Par With Tempur-Pedic
I own a king Tempur-Pedic Contor firm, spent $USD 3300 several years ago and my wife and I really love it. The Nest Alexander firm king we purchased two months ago is absolutely fully comparable to it in terms of comfort and full body support at one third the price. Excellent value for the money, we cannot distingush any differences between the two mattresses.
Nest alexander signature medium
We had a spring mattress prior, never had memory foam. When needed, and overdue for, a new mattress, spent much time looking at mattresses and reading reviews. We got our mattress from Nest almost 4 wks ago. I like a softer mattress then my husband so compromised with a medium of the alexander signature mattress. Husband noticed a little outgassing, but I didn't (i do use 2 pillows). I did not feel there was any breaking in time, mattress was comfortable right away. Both of us are comfortable with this mattress although not sure it helps with my husbands back pain. I have a problem with hot feet so i was interested in the cooling of the mattress. The bed warms up under your body torso but elsewhere is cool. That helps me because i can move my feet and it is cool anywhere they are. There is some collapse at bed edge but has not been a problem and I do sit on edge to put socks and shoes on. It is difficult making bed, may be because set in platform bed and diff to get sheets around corners and edge- too heavy to lift corners up.
Great value and workmanship
Was skeptical, but now a believer. Great night sleep.
Great customer service
Very comfortable mattress, but their customer service is what makes this company stand out. Excellent.
Great product, so comfy!
I purchased the Alexandar signature series and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! One month in and it's as comfortable as ever! It's hard to want to get up in the morning...
More Than We Dreamed
I cannot find the words to express our satisfaction with The Alexander Signature Series Mattress. It is the best mattress we’ve ever owned. Period. Back problems gone. Pressure point pains gone. Stiff joins in the morning gone. A perfect night’s sleep every night since it arrived. We could not be more pleased!
The firm is REALLY FIRM
I'm in the process of contancting the company to try to change my mattress for the medium firm because the signature firm is almost like sleeping on the ground imo. I've had it for a month and a half and I've tried jumping on it and tried to break it in but it feels really hard. I'd go for the medium at least. 3 stars for positive customer support up to this point and the ability to finance through affirm
Never seen anything delivered like this!
My review is not about the mattress itself since I only had it for a day but about the way it's been delivered. I received a notification that my mattress will be delivered yesterday. I took the old mattress down and started waiting at home. It was getting late and I was wondering why it has not been delivered yet. I opened the door to check and found the box lying around by my rose bushes far from my door and one side of the was box open as if it has been thrown. They did not even knock on the door, apparently just throw it and left. Believe me, I get lots of deliveries and I've never seen anything like this. So frustrating. It made me question whether I bought my mattress from a wrong company.
Very happy
I am writing this review from my nest bedding mattress right now. My significant other and I are overjoyed with our decision.
The Alexander
This is our first memory foam mattress, to date happy with the quality. The mattress is firmer than I’m used to, but have been resting well. Maybe as it gets used it may loose some firmness but I would be okay with that. The delivery and set up went as planned no complaints.
Is the third time the charm??
Night #1 on our new Nest bed.... Well, we've tried 3 beds so far and we may have a winner!!! Thank you Josh in the Denver Nest Store who helped me with deciding on a model. Joe Alexander- after 1 night on our Alexander Signature Soft King - my husband got up and said his back felt good and the bed was "pretty good". That is a high compliment after 3 months of rock hard "soft" beds. And after 2 failed mattresses. A suggestion: R & D should come out with a mattress for waterbed lovers. We had ours about 20-25 years and it wore out. I know I'm not the only person who loved their waterbed and is now looking for that cushiony feel but is struggling. I hope we found our new bed!!! Looking forward to night #2!!! Kim 😊👍🏼🙌🏼
Holy Grail Mattress
I sincerely regret purchasing this mattress, because pretty much all I think about when I'm at work is getting back into bed. I recently decided that it was time for a new mattress and after inadequate research settled on a Purple. I know several people who claim, verbatim, that they are "obsessed" with their Purple, but it was entirely too firm for my liking. I realized that as a side sleeper I much prefer a softer mattress. When the recycling company came to pick the Purple up when I returned it, they told me a lot of people return them. I purchased the Nest Alexander Signature Series in soft, and I AM obsessed. It's squishy without compromising support, you sink into it but not so much that you get stuck. I do still think it has a memory foam feel to it even with the quilting, but it's not as pronounced or slow to react as many memory foams. If you're a side sleeper who loves feeling like you're sleeping on a cloud, I highly recommend the Nest Alexander Signature Series mattress in the soft comfort level.
Alexander Signature Medium
I love this bed! It's the best bed I have ever owned. The only bed I have ever slept on that felt better was in a fancy hotel and even though I looked under the sheets and googled the bed, it was not available for retail. I slept on my friend's bed that is the same as this, and bought mine based on that. I'm so glad I did!
BYE BYE PURPLE MATTRESS HELLO NEST BEDDING!
I just got my Alexander Signature Soft Mattress and I LOVE IT!!! I've never had such an amazing mattress. When I lay on the mattress, it hugs me in all the right places and gives me support where I need it. I feel like they actually made me a custom nest for my body! I had the Purple Mattress before, and after Nest Bedding, I realize how uncomfortable the Purple Mattress was. Purple sells you a slab of rubber with holes in it and markets it as a bed. Nest sells you the Rolls Royce of mattresses with the finest materials at an affordable price. Don't fall for Purple's creative marketing. if you're looking to buy a bed, buy a real bed from Nest. If you're looking to buy a science experiment, buy a mattress from Purple. Even better, Nest customer service is AMAZING. I called in and spoke to Amber because I had some concerns with being a little warm at night, probably because of the mattress protector I was using (which I purchased from Purple) and she sent me the Nest Cooling Mattress Protector (which I'm very excited to try) FOR FREE!! You can't beat a company that cares about the products they make, and the customers that buy it. Beds are different for everybody, some people like Purple but I definitely prefer Nest Bedding. If you're looking for a Mattress give Nest a try, you'll fall in love! (and deep soothing slumber) Thank you Amber for making my sleep experience awesome! Very excited to try the cooling mattress protector!
Pretty smooth

The company lived up to their promise
Bought the Medium mattress but it was too soft. Sent an email to the company to ask about upgrading to the firm mattress as we were within thne100 day time frame. Received a reply from the president of Nest almost immediately confirming that the new mattress would be shipped as soon as it was manufactured. It is perfect and Nest has a lifetime customer
Great for side sleepers who prefer soft mattresses
I had tried a Casper mattress and found it too hard, as I am a side sleeper. The purchase and shipping with Nest was easy. For the first night, I found the Alexander soft mattress to be too soft, but it took about two weeks for either the foam to firm up, or for my body to get used to it. I am now really liking the softness of the mattress, as it is plush on top and more gradiented below, while some other mattresses have a top plush layer, but you only sink until you hit a harder layer below. There was no odor with this mattress, the quilting on top is lovely and is nice enough without a mattress pad, and my dog absolutely adores the bed.
Great bed and even better company
I tried 3 different beds to help my side sleep aches and pains and the nest alexander signature was the best for me. Company were great to work with.
So happy we switched.
We've never slept on memory foam before, so this purchase was a huge decision for us. We were coming from a 13 year old Sleep Number that couldn't be salvaged any longer. It took some getting used to for the first month, but I'm so glad we switched. No more morning back pain! Still adjusting to how it feels as a side sleeper and still healing from the joint pain the other mattress caused, but every day is better. Thank you Nest!!! I hope to buy another for our guest room one day.
