Medcline Pillow Details

The Medcline pillow is a wedge shaped pillow that sells itself as a solution for acid reflux inflammation during the night's sleep. They offer two options to sleepers, the Advanced Positioning Wedge and the Reflux Relief System that features an extra long body pillow that fits snuggly between the legs and raises the head. Both of these options get mixed reviews from customers. Although reports of acid reflux decline abound, the pillows are uncomfortable to many sleepers when it comes to spine and neck support.

What's Inside the Pillows?

The wedge pillow features a blend of foams, with softer memory foam on the top layer, and cushioning and supportive foams beneath. The central pillow that fits within the wedge to support the head is made of a proprietary blend of shredded foam, which also makes up the full length body pillow that comes with the Reflux Relief System.

The Outside of the Pillow

The outside of the pillows is ultra soft velour, which whicks moisture and provides superior softness. However, some may experience trapped heat on this top layer that can become uncomfortable for some.

Support

The Medcline pillow aims to be supportive and does a good job for the neck. However, some have described it as aggravating spine issues over time.

Who Is The Medcline Wedge Pillow Best For?

The Medcline Pillow is ideal for those that really need help alleviating acid reflux and have tried other pillow options to no avail. These pillows will help with acid reflux, but there is risk in overall comfort and sleep quality.

Works as advertised

Purchased for my father who has acid reflux. Aside from getting used to sleeping on his side, he is liking it and it is working well for him.

Bought this for shoulder pain ... it works

Bought this about 10 days ago because I have been struggling with shoulder pain at nights for over two years from overdoing it boxing and the problem has never healed because I sleep laying on my side. Most nights it seemed I flipped over every 15-30 minutes because of shoulder issues and I was going a couple times a week to my chiropractor and using a tens machine every evening for 90 minutes. It took about 30 minutes to get used to this pillow (take some melatonin to really knock you out) but once I got used to it, it really is amazing. No pain. I do still flip a few times each night - but I just roll over and settle back in - only a minor inconvenience. The five nights I slept really hard - slept through my alarm twice one week (haven't done that in 10 years) but now I wake feeling really refreshed. I don't have heartburn - but for shoulder pain this is a dream, literally!

CAUTION/BEWARE

BEWARE!!! Unlike other items/retailers. This one can not be returned if opened and used. My thing is how are you suppose to try something to see if it works or helps if you can't try it. So for the price you are going to pay, make sure you are prepared to keep it. DO NOT RECOMMEND or will order from this company again.

Buyer beware

This thing is garbage. It does not do what they claim. If you want to send it back, they deny any returns. Very uncomfortable. Do not buy!

Super Uncomfortable!

BIG Problem!! The principle seems great. Elevate upper body and have a slot for your shoulder. The problem is that it produced the worst nights sleep I've had in a long time. It is super uncomfortable. Upon opening the box the long pillow had these strange brown stain spots here and there. But I still wanted to try it. Bad mistake. And they don't want it back if you have opened it. So I'd run from this product.

too big, bulky, tend to slip down, i do not like this pillow, very dissatified. not the height my dr wanted

Read the Instruction Manual Before Using

On the positive side: The company was available by phone to provide assistance. The product was nice looking and made of sturdy foam. I should have read the instructions cover to cover before using. As the booklet warned, the accompanying body pillow was shipped compressed in plastic and smelled bad. It took several days for the smell to dissipate. I felt like a character in a comedy sketch as I tried to adjust to this incline wedge. Though I eventually found a comfortable position getting in and out of bed required climbing over and repositioning the body pillow. I probably won’t use it often because it puts pressure on my armpit and I would have some concern about nerve compression. It takes up more than half of our queen-sized bed, so a bit of it hangs off the bed, so I am limited in positions. If you have a king-sized bed, it may be perfect for you.

Looks amazing in the video

Looks amazing in the video, the idea is great, but soooo not worth the money, and your body is practically folded sideways, it's way too high. And I did buy the suggested size. (I was bummed) But they did take it back with a refund and I was glad about that.

A+ Bigger guy with two chronic shoulder injuries from weight lifting

Both my left and right shoulders have chronic injuries to the rotator systems, bad enough to require months of PT to rehab the pain and range of motion, but not enough to require surgery. This is resulting from 15+ years of a serious 5x week hypertropy or strength program. I would frequently wake up with shoulder pain and one or both arms completely asleep. The MedCline shoulder system cured both the circulation and pain issues. I find it easy to roll over, do not overheat, and am able to sleep very deeply. Highly recommend although it hurt my wallet! I am 5”11 between 210 and 220lbs depending on my caloric intake and workout program, bf 10-16%

I have used over the year several pills, and with this pillow you don't have to hurt your body with pills anymore and the re-flux disappear over 2 days of using this pillow

but there is no way I can in good conscience sleep on this until I cannot smell anything

There IS a strong smell out of the bag. I have no reason to lie, do not believe paid positive reviews claiming otherwise. I got mine today and it REEKS of some chemical, similar to paint or some kind of strong industrial chemical. I will adjust my review if the smell goes away, but there is no way I can in good conscience sleep on this until I cannot smell anything. Again, theer IS an overpowering chemical smell. I layed down on it for a minute and it was comfortable, so hopefully this disgusting odor dissipates.

Smell is unbearable.

Purchased this item straight from manufacturer. It looks like it might work, but it REEKS of ... house paint you get from lowes or home depot. I realize there is no actual house paint in this product, but some kind of off-gassing is happening. It was so bad I had to put it out of the house and the room I opened the shipping container in smelled for hours afterward. There is no way I would feel comfortable breathing that in all night. For the price, I expected better.

I have pending shoulder surgery . The concept is good could use a few minor adjustments but not work for me. I had to return it . I am a retired anesthetist with 35 years of positioning patients on their side for surgery and would love to recommend to the developers on how to improve the product

Quality materials, works for surgically induced shoulder pain and current rotator cuff tear, customer service very responsive

This same product with the pillow is available on the MedCline website for $278, not the $319 being charged here. Shipping from MedCline is free. I have had 3 shoulder/rotator cuff surgeries and managed to tear up my right shoulder again in November, 2016 when I damaged the infraspinatus, supraspinatus and longhead biceps tendon. The latest damage was medically assessed by my ortho and he said another surgery was not indicated due to my past surgeries and my lhigh evel of self-rehab. I rarely sleep more than an hour or so at night since my re-injury in 2016 due to the recurrent shoulder pain. I refuse to take hard core opioids and until I found the MedCline product the night time pain/wake/nap cycle was relentless. Initially, based on the MedCline website direction, I purchased the newer, thinner and longer “LP’ wedge model (7” high, 42” long) specifically for shoulder pain. I tried it for nearly a month and due to my size, 6’1” and 215 pounds, I didn’t really fit the LP model – my arms kept going numb at night didn’t really fit the LP model. The customer service folks at MedCline are excellent and they agreed to allow me to try the taller 12 inch “GERD” wedge which I assessed for about ten days which was plenty of time to determine that it worked really well. I returned the LP model and am keeping the taller, shorter “GERD” model. The cover is non-slip, the wedge is firm but comfortable, very high quality foam and the supplied pillow acts maily to support your own pillow. I have large arms - 18" diameter and I've used the MedCline with and without the supplied pillow. The issue when using the wedge without the supplied pillow is that your own pillow sinks into the wedge pillow opening. I do not yet have long term use data and will report back over time as I gain more experience. As of the writing of this review, I have used the MedCline wedge for about 2 months. If you have shoulder pain, before you order, call MedCline customer service and get their input on which model to purchase, they are very helpful folks. I've seen some reviews knocking the customer support and I've had no issues with them - they are very accomodating folks and have assisted me greatly.

Love/Hate

i've been using this for 3 months now, and have a love/hate relationship with it. the good news is that it absolutely works for its intended purpose--acid reflux relief. i have not had one episode since using this pillow, even on one night when i went to bed feeling a bit of heartburn. however, it does not work for some other conditions that i hoped it would help, and introduces new problems i didn't have before. I have found, though, that most of these problems are mitigated somewhat by making sure you are sitting high enough up on the wedge. Like, so high it seems weird. 1. Hip pain. Because all of your upper body weight is now pushing down the slope onto your hip, it causes hip pain after about 10 mins of use. This is helped, though, by moving higher up on the edge--having your hip actually resting on the wedge rather than below it eases the pressure for some reason. 2. Neck pain. This is the fault of the body pillow, which is full of foam therefore extremely firm and extremely tall and cocks your neck at a too-high angle. The foam is so firm it can't be pressed down or flattened. With 3 months' use the foam seems to have been pushed slightly to either side so there is a bit of a depression in the pillow's head area, but not enough. I still wake with a small amount of neck pain almost every day. If you use your own pillow instead of the body pillow this won't be an issue, but I love the feeling of the body pillow on my back and stomach area so right now that outweighs the neck issue. It's a wonderful cradle feeling; I just wish there were a way to cut out the head portion and put in your own pillow. 3. Shoulder pain. At first I thought this system actually made my shoulder pain worse and was cutting off my arm circulation, but then I realized I was not sitting high enough up on the wedge as is instructed. You're supposed to be high enough so that your arm falls straight down from your shoulder and does not touch the wedge at all. It feels weird to get that high on the wedge but once I did it, I didn't have much shoulder pain any more. Any movement tends to make you slip down the wedge a bit, though, and then you wake up with a numb arm again. Thus, my love/hate relationship with Medcline and the reason I'm still using it, even though about 2x a week I say I'm going to quit it.

This pillow has changed my life. I sleep extremely well and comfortable with zero acid reflux and never wake up with back aches. The innovative design that makes room for your arm is wonderful! The only problem with this pillow is I am now spoiled. I like it so much it goes with us when we travel! if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Totally disappointed. Pillow uncomfortable and actually made shoulders worse and unable to sleep due to how uncomfortable. Item returned

It's extremely comfortable and the body pillow is amazing

The wedge pillow is very large. It takes up about the width of half of a king size bed. It's extremely comfortable and the body pillow is amazing. It can cause pain in your hips if you don't curl your legs up. It's also a bit challenging to switch sides considering you have to remove your arm from the hole and move it to the other side. It's a little more involved than I want to do in the middle of the night. I kept it for a month and ultimately returned it. It is great for acid reflux and even helped with snoring.

Totally amazing pillow, worth every penny when you MUST sleep elevated.

"There is no other pillow like this pillow! My hubs was ordered to sleep at 30 degrees, and this pillow allows him to sleep on his side comfortably!! Totally amazing pillow, worth every penny when you MUST sleep elevated. THANK YOU MedCline pillow!!! "

Best pillow ever

Best pillow ever! Works great for GERD and is exactly what we wanted. We tried another and this was well with the money. Only downside is the cover is difficult to get on and off. I wish we could buy loose covers in maybe a linen or 100% cotton- not a fan at all or the cover quality.

Suffered with shoulder impingement for last two years. Meds and PT helped, but major contributor to problem was sleeping on it. I wrapped my arm to keep my shoulder out from under my head during sleep, but could not sleep. Had the MedCline now for going on 90-days and shoulder is 75% better. Range of mobility is returning and can, finally after almost two years, work out with weights again. Short adjustment period with MedCline, but stick with it for a couple of weeks and you will never go back.

seems to be helping

Great sleep system

Great sleep system. I have slept great since night 1. I recommend this highly. I was in a bad car wreck and suffer from reflux. Both issues are much better. The price is high but sleep is much better. I will buy it again and again. I use my sleep system every night. I’ll be sure to buy another for my camper.

IT WORKS!

Took a few nights to get used to it, but the results were outstanding. I have been suffering with really bad acid reflux. Since I've been sleeping on my MedCline I have had zero acid reflux issues. It was well worth the investment to achieve a consistent, good night sleep.

Work towards a better night's sleep with this

I am close to a month working on improving my night's sleep with the MedCline pillow. It is ingeniously designed. I start facing left as recommended for my digestion, and then during the night I find I have disengaged from the comfortable side lying position with my left arm through the opening. If I am wakeful enough, I can reinsert myself, on either side. When I am too drowsy, I find myself slipped down toward the foot of the bed, my head resting on the comfortable down slope. My husband reports that he hears less snoring and sleeps better. It is surely a process!

The Right Answer

Grateful for the life changing GURD pillow! Make it your 1st option rather than your last resort. Think: GURD pillow vs hideous medication. Our story: After a long journey of cancer, bone-marrow transplant, brain surgery, thyroidectomy, sleepless nights and years of GURD we feel blessed to have the GURD Pillow which restores health and sleep with NO SIDE EFFECTS. Unfortunately, we discovered the GURD pillow subsequent to our son's burned and damaged esophagus. After years on powerful and hideous medications. We're spreading the GURD PILLOW word so others can avoid the side effects of GURD left to itself and medication! Finally a real GURD solution!

Great for my shoulder

Found this pillow when I was looking for a wedge to help my reflux. Not sure what it has done for my reflux, not sure I even have reflux, but, wow!, has it ever helped ease my right shoulder pain. Wish I had found this years ago.

Pros and cons - overall great product

I would give the Medline wedge four stars, but .. it seems to have caused a pinched sciatic nerve in my back affecting my left leg. I am 62, a molecular biologist, and I have lived with GERD for over 20 years. Due to an acute case of esophagitis this past year, I finally got a wedge to sleep on. What I love about the MedCline is that it is so ergonomically designed! However the "candy-cane" pillow had affected my right leg (sleeping on my left side) necessitating several chiropractic visits. Finally, I discarded the "candy-cane" pillow and only used the wedge. After a month or so, my left leg now felt a bit restless when sitting up reading on the sofa. Then, over time, pain developed. Yes, I am older, and an X-ray showed mild compression of disks in the spine (L2 & L3 I believe it was). But ... what had changed? The only thing that had changed was now I was only using the MedCline wedge, and it was exactly at that time that the restless leg symptom began then over the past two months developed into a pinched nerve and pain. I have stopped using the MedCline wedge as of 5 nights ago, and my pinched-sciatic nerve symptoms are much improved. Time will tell how much the wedge contributed to these symptoms. As my GERD was always mild, and I'd not used a wedge in 20+ years, I will do without it now that my esophagitis is finally healed. I do think it is a phenomenal product, well designed, comfortable, and a great company! But just be aware if you notice any new ergonomic aches or pains developing commensurate with using the MedCline system. It may be phenomenal for you; I wish it had been for me.

Negatives out-weigh positives

I made my purchase directly from MedCline. I wanted to love this system, but I ended up returning it for a variety of reasons. First, I ended up with a rash near my eyes. Second, I kept sliding off the incline. Third is that it's cumbersome. It weighs over 15 lbs, the two main pieces are bulky. They are not easy to move around. Finally, I couldn't figure out how or where to store the pieces when I make up my bed - they don't fit under the bed, they're too bulky for my closet, and they are just awkward to move. I have a one bedroom apartment with limited storage and I would have had to resign myself to the fact that I can no longer have a made-up bed, which I would have considered if the other issues weren't present. The two positives I have are the company was easy to deal with and I did like the long pillow piece. If it didn't give me a rash, I would have considered keeping just the one piece. Oh well, my search continues.

Best sleep in a long time

Great pillow and sleep system to ensure max comfort

I had seen this product on a FB ad and bought it directly through the medicline website. I suffer from tendinitis in my shoulders which can worsen if I sleep on my side the wrong way. Was able to purchase this medical device using HSA funds and have been enjoying it very much! The incline and body pillow make it so easy to get comfortable and fall asleep...and just as importantly for me, fall back asleep when i wake up in the middle of the night. It’s a great product and highly recommend it for anyone even if they don’t have a medical condition.

Exceeded My Expectations!!!

OMG!! Mine just arrived and I tried it out. It is everything I'd hoped it would be. I was nervous paying so much for a pillow, it it is worth every penny. Brilliant design. It gives your arm a place to be, which has always been a problem for me. It has gotten even worse since I've gotten older and gained weight. I love this pillow!!!

Even after washing I got horribly sick with sinus infection and bronchitis from the off gassing of the pillow only after two nights. I was not sick at all beforehand. Very costly mistake

Not for us

The use of this wedge, for my husband, caused sciatic nerve problems. He had to return it. There was a restocking charge we were not aware of. We tried.

Very small window on returns. Didn't notice this, until it was too late.

Most uncomfortable non-sleep, I have ever experienced. Too cornered and sharp on the armpit, kept sliding down, never did get comfortable enough to fall asleep. Tried it off and on for several weeks, never got any better. Extremely bad design, pillow angle too low for the waistline angle when you sleep on your side.

ezcare more like ezrestockingfee

beware 20% restocking fee not listed under returns and refunds....the product....smells funny and is very uncomfortable. the space for your arm is small and the pillow is stiff so it pinched my arms huge waste of money!!!!!!!!!

Expensive and ineffective

I bought the pillow directly from MedCline. Let me just say this - don't bother. This is a really expensive wedge pillow that does little to nothing. My arm feels trapped at night and it's difficult to get comfortable. You can achieve similar results with a combination of body pillows and regular pillows and you aren't trapped! I read all these wonderful reviews so i was really hoping for a miracle. Save your money!

Happy I Bought This Pillow

I bought this pillow because I have acid reflux and go to tired of waking up with that burning feeling in my throat. I decided to try out this pillow. It took several days to get used to it and figure out what works best for me. I’m glad I took a chance. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my reflux symptoms. The body pillow really adds to the comfort and helps keep me in a good position on the pillow. I find that putting a flat regular pillow under my hip/tushie helps keep me from sliding down as I sleep. This was a good investment.

I purchased this in Aug 2017 when it was $219. I have acid reflux so I needed a wedge to keep me elevated while I sleep. The wedge came in vacuum (pressure?) packaging and took less than a day to fluff up. The quality of the interior foam was fantastic, it never flattened or had depressions the entire time I used it (nearly every night). The removable washable cover was also of great quality and soft. It was unfortunately due to two reasons that I stopped using it. One, the wedge elevation was not high enough for my reflux, I had to supplement with three additional pillows on top. The second reason is of the unusual shape. I tried to let myself adjust or adapt to the arm pocket when I could but I suppose it was just not for me. I'm extremely happy that there even is a wedge specially designed for reflux sufferers but I'll keep trying others.

Helps with breathing while sleeping!

I loved that this is comfortable, and kept me elevated when I had pneumonia. I hate that the pillow itself can’t be thoroughly cleaned. The thing is, we got a heavy infestation of fleas this year. They are attacking me since the cats are medicated. I need to wash everything, and while the cover can be washed, it isn’t a total encasement. The zipper doesn’t lock, so it is loose where it ends. This would allow critters in and out. So, I will likely have to throw the pillow out. It’s way too expensive to not be able to effectively sanitize it, or at least thoroughly protect it. Update. I just talked with their support team, and they did try to be helpful. They allowed me to make a suggestion, and hopefully they will, make a total encasement cov/er for it. Then the cover could be washed, and the pillow could be vacuumed with an attachment brush. So they are trying to fix this.

Not for shorties!

Tried this for two weeks. Bought it directly thru MedCline. I am 5’3” and the recommended size was still too large to be comfortable for me. I managed to sleep several hours each night with it, but found it a bit uncomfortable. Had to return it.

Really did help my husband a little with GERD. Is very comfortable just hard to put the cover back on the first few times until you learn, had to YouTube it.

Older model was great. New version is trash, will cause you to slide down, and leave your arms numb and shoulders in pain.

I purchased the old model back in December 2016, it was great. No shoulder pain, stayed in place on the pillow all night. My dog destroyed that one and I repurchased the new model in late February; it is absolute junk. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. They re-designed the pillow so the part you used to rest your own pillow on is absolutely thin and has no support. Then they included a new pillow insert to stick in the hole. This design is absolutely terrible, as sticking my arm through the hole and having a pillow insert compress it all night leaves my arm numb and tweaks it in a position which causes me to wake up in immense shoulder pain 95% of the time. I don't know if I am able to get an old model, but I would like one. I may be outside of the return/trial window now, so I'm probably stuck with an inexpensive piece of junk. If it ain't broke, don't fix it Medcline. You turned a fabulous product into an absolute piece of trash.

Didnt work for me

Didnt wotk for me, if you have a broad upper body this may not work well... glad it there was a hastle free return policy

The wedge was good for back sleeping

It is rather large, but they make no secret of that. The wedge was good for back sleeping, and the cutout for the arms started out OK, but, overall, this feature did not provide the relief I was looking for. Everyone is different, so I would recommend taking advantage of the trial. Shipping it back was easy.

Caused back pain

Works well for acid reflux but caused back pain and my arm falls asleep no matter which arm position I choose. I bought it to help my shoulder pain and now I have back pain.

The return was totally painless & easy so I'd still recommend others to try it

Didn't work for me... The return was totally painless & easy so I'd still recommend others to try it.

I sleep like a baby

Yes it's expensive, but it's made a huge difference in my reflux. I use this pillow almost every night, and it's saved me from having to go on PPIs (which I recently read increase the risk of esophageal cancer—the whole reason I was worried about reflux in the first place). When I'm having heartburn/gas, and I use this pillow, I sleep like a baby.

I love the old one piece version

Extremely disappointed- I bought what I thought was the same pillow that I purchased a few years ago. This version has a separate pillow in the hole which won’t hold its shape and makes your arm go to sleep. I love the old one piece version, but this one is useless. Definitely not worth the money! I wasted mine don’t waste yours.

Thank you Medcline!

I have had bad shoulder pain for the last 10 years due to side sleeping on both sides. The weight of my body presses on the shoulder joint and muscles. It was painful to put on and take of a shirt, work out in certain exercises. I found this pillow and tried it. After one day, there was about 25% relief. After a week only mild tenderness. Soft tissue injuries take up to 6 months to fully heals, so I am expecting full recovery shortly. The only issue I have which is why I only gave it four stars is that it is a wedge and I find myself at the bottom of it routinely and I have to hoist myself up to the top for the pillow to work its magic. But all in all a decent trade off. I do recommend it.

Terrible Product, Great Business Model

People in pain are looking for anything that may give them a degree of relief. This company has set up the perfect business model to prey on those types of situations. The "shoulder relief" product consists of 2 poorly constructed pillows and a piece of foam in the form of a pillow wedge. I have been involved with engineering my entire life and question a design that can be duplicated with a couple of regular pillows. Furthermore, a person in pain has most likely experimented with existing pillows, coming up with a more comfortable or effective construction. When people purchase the Medcline product and discover they have been duped, there is a 30 day waiting period for returns. They state this is for the person to get used to the product, however, it is entirely more likely it's put into place to discourage busy people from returning the product. However, it's a great business model. A couple of dollars of material sold for $280! Even if the item is returned, they make money on the restocking fee and recycle (sell it to someone else again)! My wife, in an effort to help me sleep, purchased this for me. While it pains me to return a gift from her, it also pains me to use the Medcline product. In good conscience, I suggest other people with bad shoulders, necks, or backs to think twice before trying this product.

DO NOT BUY

Seemed like a good idea. Looked at their return policy and thought I'd give it a try. Good luck on reaching anyone and getting any one to answers your calls or emails. This is nothing short of a scam.

The worst company !

I bought Medcline pillow and it's very uncomfortable . The main pillow is very high and then you turn on other side you have to be awake and find the hole to put your arm in. And I try to reach customer service they never returned my calls and on my emails keep saying; we are small company we cant responded to every emails . Very disappointed , that the worst company I ever had to deal with !

SCAM will not answer phone calls or emails to give return authorization

Have tried to contact multiple times for return authorization and they will not answer phones, return emails, nothing! Beware!!!

Not for two tears in the shoulder

We waited with anticipation for the Shoulder relief system to arrive which it did a little over a month ago. Unfortunately, both of the suggested positions cause intense pain. I emailed the company a week ago with a copy of the order and resent it four days ago. It looks like the guarantee is worthless. I tried to call the number again a few minutes ago and it suggested I call back another time or email them. Be caredful.

Not made for heavy guys

I'm a pretty muscular guy. I'm about 290 pounds. I have sleep apnea, so I have to sleep on my side. I often have to reposition at night due to shoulder discomfort, do I decided to give the medcline pillow a shot. I was very disappointed. I sank down into the pillow so much that my shoulder was still pushing into the bed a bit. The big problem was that I sank down too far to be able to use a pillow. Any pillow I used caused my neck to side-bend way too much. The top curved part was positioned perfectly to use as a pillow but it was firm and uncomfortable. I woke up with terrible neck pain. My arm was uncomfortable too due to being kept in an awkward position (pointing straight forward all night). Overall a very uncomfortable pillow. They should put a weight limit on it or something. The worst part is that you can't return it once it's opened. Complete waste of money.

Poor Design - Does not Work as Advertised.

Do not buy this pillow. It i very uncomfortable and does not work as advertised. I spent a sleepless night on it and concluded that I would never sleep on it again. When I tried to contact MedCline customer support (which I tried to do multiple times) all I got was an answering machine telling me to email them. After a few canned email replies to my letters I received email informing me that they "Do Not Accept Returns". I honestly believe that this company is a scam preying on people who have shoulder problems. Their product is overprices ($231 delivered), poorly designed and does not work as advertised. Do NOT purchase it.

SOUNDS GOOD IN THEORY HORRIBLE and COSTLY RETURN POLICY

I wanted to like this as I have lots of shoulder painn from side sleeping and have sleep apnea also. After several days of varying positions I think my pain was worse and I would not recommend although the body pillow was helpful in aligning spine. And it's a HUGE BOX and the pillow itself will not allow you to remake a bed without this monstrous wedge which takes up more than a half of a queen size bed. God help your partner When attempting to return I was told I was told I had to wait 30 days for a return label only to find that there was a 25.00 fee which basically charges you for return shipping anyway and then they don't refund your initial shipping! So after you try to jam all this stuff back innto this giant box which has taken up space in your living room, den or garage for a month and drag it down to UPS you're still going to be out of 50.00 for the privelege of trying this pillow. I would NEVER do business with this company again.

not impressed

seems to be to stiff on the body pillow part and im not sleeping as good as i did before i got it gona give it a bit more time but price is way to high and was suppose to get extra body pillow and some other type cover dint receive it either..am quite disappointed.

Not all of your money in refunded in the poor return policy

The pillow did nothing to take away my shoulder pain and it was impossible for me to sleep on the incline. It also takes up more than half the queen sized bed and my wife had to sleep squished up on 1/3 of the mattress. When I wanted to return the produce the representative would not allow it until the 30 days had passed. I waited until the allowed time to make the return, and when I received my refund it was only $175 of my $250. The company said the rest was return fees and the original shipping cost that I paid was not refunded. Nowhere did I see these stipulations before I bought the product or when I requested to return it. With this poor customer service and gotcha fees, I would not take a chance on a product you aren't very sure will work.

Not comfortable at all

This is the worst pillow I've ever used, I tried to return it last month and was told to keep it for another month and when I tried to return it they stated I was past the 60 days return period. DON'T BUY IT

Try to give yourself time to adjust! It works great!

I had right rotator cuff surgery years ago. Because of the pain on the right, I always slept on my left. This led to pain on the left. I have been hesitant to try a pillow for the pain. I had no faith that it would work. I tried the MedCline pillow after I saw that it could be reimbursed through my health account. The first 2 days my left arm was either sore or numb. My hip was also killing me. I read a few reviews to see if anyone had a suggestion. I read a review that stated to straighten out my legs instead of curling them up towards my chest. I also read to try to position myself where my hip was also on the pillow. AFter trying a few things, the following things worked for me. I noticed that repositioning that kidney shaped pillow helped. I cannot sleep with my arm through the bottom of the pillow where my arm is resting on the bed. I have to use the 2nd position advertised. No more shoulder soreness or numbness. Using the body pillow between my knees stopped the hip pain. An added benefit is my snoring has greatly decreased! I am sleeping so much better now. It took about 3-4 nights to adjust to the pillow. It was worth it!

MedCline Pillow System

The product is sent compressed. In order to use it, it must be opened. It can ONLY be returned if unopened. What a waste of money. Thank you for pointing this out in bold letters. I wish I had seen your review first. You quite correctly noted that while it may help relieve pain in the shoulders, it can aggravate neck and back issues. BUYER BEWARE.

Incline with multi—decline

I was intrigue to get this pillow because being obese caused my arm to feel numb when I slept on my side. According to the advertisements promoting this pillow was made to resolve this issue. In order to lay properly on the pillow your buttocks has to be positioned high up on the incline part of the pillow. Being obese causes me to slide down on the pillow eliminating the possibility to achieve the wanted result. As stated before by other reviewers once this is purchased it cannot be sent back and be refunded.

Not for me

I am sure this pillow works well for other people. It did not work well for me. the biggest reason I am disatisfied is how much it cost me to return a product I was not happy with. I would never recomend this company to anyone. I ordered a competitor pillow and it was much better for me.

Terrible Product, worse customer service

I ordered the pillow and MedCline charged me December 18, 2022. I received the pillow December 28. I asked to return it January 2. MedCline made me wait 30 days. I waited the 30 days for the return label. MedCline charged me $25 to return. MedCline received the pillow back February 2. MedCline made me wait 12 days for a partial refund. This experience cost me $44. The product is terrible, the customer service worse.

Cheap, overpriced, made in China garbage

This overpriced pillow pinched my shoulder so bad it took two days to release. It's cheap and not worth the cost. Furthermore they charge you $25.00 to return a product they guarantee your satisfaction or your money back. The pillow mad in china has about $15.00 cost into it, so they still made $10.00.... Not worth the time and effort, they will do whatever to have you keep the pillow, including sending out another size without telling you it's going to cost you another $25.00 to return. Just another POS pillow sold by a company that doesn't really offer a money back guarantee.

DO NOT BUY! ODOR

This product has an unbearable toxic chemical smell. After tying to airing it out for days, it stunk up my room. I wanted to return and instead I get how normal an unharmful the smell is. AND if you are overly sensitive they tell me how to wash and do some process. It is a JOKE. Sad thing is... it felt comfortable... yet awkward on the bed. Yet doesn't matter because I cant bear to be near the smell.
