If you are looking for a quality mattress, take a look at our list of top rated mattresses. Online mattresses offer good deals, generous trial and refund policies, warranties, and solid customer reviews.

Quality of Materials

We'll go through some of the brands that Mattress Max sells to customers to describe the ins and outs of their products. Here are the details:

Sealy: Sealy is one of the most recognized name-brand mattresses. Their zoned coil mattresses and all-foam options focus on back alignment with their Posturepedic technology. Most customers like Sealy products due to their wide array of pricepoints and firmness options. However, there are some issues with longevity reported by sleepers.

Stearns & Foster: Stearns & Foster is one of the most popular luxury mattress brands. Their mattresses offer pocketed spring varieties with a focus on pillow tops and pillowy comfort, though they come in multiple firmness varieties. These mattresses come at very high prices, and have some complaints about durability reported by some sleepers.

Corsicana: Corsicana is a smaller mattress brand, which is based in Texas and ships across the US. Their mattresses come at competitive pricepoints and multiple styles, mostly focused on innerspring designs. Customers like their Corsicana mattresses overall, but there were some disagreements when it came to durability with some sagging issues reported.

Serta: Serta is known for its iSeries and iComfort lines that provide foam-focused mattresses that relieve pressure points while supporting the spine with pocketed coil systems below. With both luxury options and lower priced models, there is something for everyone within Serta offerings. However, there were some that had issues with quality and durability problems with some models.

Overall Comfort

While Mattress Max's selection offers both budget-friendly and luxury mattress offerings that get good initial scores from sleepers, there are some that had issues with lasting comfort and felt they could find high value elsewhere.

Firmness

Mattress Max offers mattresses in every firmness permutation, which is ideal for those that have special needs in their mattress firmness. Most customers will be comfortable with a medium-firm profile.

Back Pain Relief

While Stearns & Foster and Sealy's posture focused designs provide good spinal alignment at first, there were some that had issues with degrading support which could cause issues with spinal alignment over time.

Cooling

There are some models that are sold at Mattress Max that do a great job cooling. Models to look for include gel-infused foams on the surface layer. Foam-focused mattresses that don't include supplemental cooling material on the surface layer may be too warm for some sleepers.

Who Are Mattress Max Products Right For?

Mattress Max is a good option for those that want to try out a mattress in store and desire a name-brand option. However, if you are looking for something similar that is higher rated by customers and has a better trial and warranty, take a look at our list of top rated mattresses for strong alternatives.

I went in today to just price mattresses...

I went in today to just price mattresses. Ended up buying. Connie greeted me and then showed me to the mattresses. She asked my budget, type mattress I wanted, and showed me the mattress she thought I would love. I also tried a couple of others, but ended up getting the first one she showed me. I loved that she provided a clean pillow to try with the bed. I loved the pillow, so I bought it, too! Thank you for a wonderful low pressure experience

This store with their catchy ads

This store with their catchy ads and so called great deals is complete bs. We went into the store looking for a good bed at a great price since that's what they advertise. We were dealt with by Connie, who seemed to have barely any knowledge of what she was trying to sell. She had a cold, dumb feeling to her. Not all that friendly. She told us to buy a mst-iv pillow top set. She didn't show us any other options or try to help us get a good deal. She was dead set on this one stupid bed. It felt fine, but we were being rushed even though there was no other customers in the store. So, we bought the stupid thing because she said it was SOOO great of a deal and if we didn't like it, we could return it. We get it home and try it for a week. This is the worst bed I've ever slept on. Mine and my husband's backs ache ever single day. It's horrible! I went back into the store and talked to Jeff, one of the owners. He said he wanted us to be satisfied, he would talk with the other guys and call me the next day. He never called me back, so he obviously never cared. I will never go back to this hellhole. Their customer service sucks and their products are overpriced crap. Mattress max will take all your moneeeeeey!!!

Buyer BEWARE!

Buyer BEWARE! Have bought from here several times and no problem! Until I had a problem with a recliner which was under warranty. Upon contacting the store I was referred to a repair company who gave me the run-around for over 3 months. So, I contacted the store again and was promised better results! Which I found out was a JOKE! All Clarence gave me was a bunch of empty promises and no results! Everything was blamed on the manufacturer which is apparently going into bankruptcy! It's a little funny that when I quit calling all the concern and promises vanished! There has never been a follow up call to show any type of real concern for a previously loyal customer! However I was able to find the parts online and pay for them myself with very little effort! Very dissappointed in what I thought was a reputable company! If you purchase anything from here just pray that there is never a problem because then you will find out what "Save you Moneeeey" really means!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zach, the guy that runs the place

Zach, the guy that runs the place is extremely unprofessional. I bought a bed from them, the day it was supposed to be delivered no one showed up so I called the store at closing time and he claimed that they usually call customers before delivering to confirm the time, no one ever called me. an hour later they finally show up with a mattress (it was 8:00 PM) they take the packaging off and the mattress is covered with stains. I watched his daughter for an hour while they went back to the warehouse and got me a new one. 9:30 PM and my bed is finally set up. hes chatting with me and said some rude and degrading comments about my boyfriend before leaving. Not to mention he sexually harassed me in a bar the following weekend. Rude, unprofessional, and creepy.
