After purchasing three bed toppers, including a down topper, I finally think this is the right one! I've been miserable for two years with a new mattress that was just too firm for me. I used the Lucid for the first time last night after letting it sit for two days. What a difference it made, I finally slept without pressure pain in my hips and shoulders and woke up rested and with energy again! If you need something softer, this is it! I'm so thankful I found it, I was miserable.
I gave this topper a 4 even though I sent it back. It was extremely plush but unfortunately it was too plush for me! If you like sleeping in one spot or don't move around much it's fantastic. I found it difficult to turn from one side to another so I returned it (which was VERY easy and painless).
This doesn't work for me. I'm a side sleeper. I sink in too far. My hips hurt. My hand goes numb. I ended up pulling out my camping air mattress and sleeping bag and sleeping on the floor, because I couldn't deal with it. Definitely returning.
I used to wake up aching all over..the first night i slept on this pad, i woke up feeling great, without hurting all over. Its so comfortable, i didnt wanna get outta bed! I love it!! Great investment. The gel infused into pad really does help keep me cool and comfortable. Gona buy one for my queen sized bed also!

Although it's very comfortable, I hope you never need to move it. If you move houses or want to flip your mattress, things are not going to fare well for you. We bought a new camper, so I gently flopped this over in half to carry it to the new camper... It's ripped in 4 places. I won't be able to move it again as one of the tears is substantial. Like I said, it was comfortable when I had it on the bed, but good luck ever moving it.
At first touch I had high hopes for this. Its comfortable but you sink in a significant amount. Will be returning.
I reeeaaalllyyy loved this topper for the first 4 months of using it! It was perfect in the way i didn't sink in too much but the perfect amount and with the support given I would get on my bed and fall asleep like a baby. But recently i have had a bit of back stiffness and i noticed that it doesn't have that support facter as much anymore. It deflates too much for me now. Now i'm looking for one with better support if that means anything. I thought it would last longer with this brand.

I bought my mattress spring of the moment, needed one ASAP, so it's not the best. It is comfy but this topper makes it feel like I'm sleeping on a could! And it's priced very well compared to others!
It is super comfortable and feels like heaven. It comes in a little box but after about 24 hours it can be used. It is made out of durable material.
I didn't know what to expect when I bought this, weather a ups truck with a huge box or a semi, but it was neither. This king size topper fit into a large box and was easy to carry in and set up. The topper was compressed together and after opening it up , I let it sit for a hour and when I went back to check it, it was a big nice thick tipper ands pictured. Very easy to set up, and light enough to place it correctly on my bed by myself. I slept on this last night and it was so comfortable, this is the first this is the first time in a long time that I didn't wake up with my back hurting. I highly recommend this topper for anyone who doesn't want to have the expense of buying a new mattress, but instead helping theit back with the mattress they already have . I will be getting my dad one as well for Christmas to help his back.
I love howbsoft this had made my very old uncomfortable bed. I now can't wait to get into it.
The package that this arrived in was very small and compact compared to the actual size of the product. When I opened it, the instructions said to let it air out and give it 48 hours for it to take its shape. I was taken aback by this, and was a little annoyed since I was hoping to put it on my new bed that day. Surprisingly, it actually looked ready to go after about 30 min. The queen sized mattress pad fits my mattress perfectly. It is insanely comfortable, and now I feel like I wouldn't be able to sleep without it. It also goes back to it's natural shape fairly quickly after getting up off of it. I think it will last me quite a while because of this. The package also came with what appears to be a letter opener inside of it. This letter opener made it easy to remove the plastic from the mattress pad , without damaging the pad. And now I can keep and use it for envelopes.
So.....long story short. This was PERFECT for a project I did. Long story not so short. I have been searching EVERYWHERE for some cute floor pillows for my kids play room. But was not ok spending hundreds on cushions I couldn't even wash. I ended up getting some dog beds from Marshall's (genius right?!) but they weren't as supportive as I hoped. I got this and because of the holes spaced out evenly on the whole topper, it was crazy easy to cut it to size. now I have the most comfortable floor couch EVER :)
Purchased the full size topper for my 14 year old sons bed. We upgraded him from a twin size mattress to full size a couple years ago and made the mistake of buying a cheaper priced mattress. It was fine at first but as he's gotten bigger it is not as comfortable as he would like. With Christmas coming up I do not have the extra money for a mattress right now so I thought we would try this in an effort to make it comfortable for him and affordable for me!! It comes packaged in a bigger sized box. It is not heavy at all and the topper is vacuum sealed so that it will be compact enough for the box. Once you open the wrapper the topper comes to life!! He laid it right on top of his mattress and it settled down to the mattress quickly!! Its a blue foam material with little gel like spots in it. He put fresh sheets on the bed as usual and they fit just fine! He laid down to test it out and could not believe how much better his mattress now was! Of course we all had to go in and lay on it to test out and he is right!! It molds to the shape of your body while still giving proper support and it does not get hot at all! We are very pleased with this purchase and are so excited we don't have to pay big bucks to replace his mattress right now!
This topper is such high quality. Since using this my bad and hip pains have gone away. It's so soft and plush. Just follow the directions. Lay flat for 2 days and just watch how this topper inflates. Best purchase I could have done for myself and mg health. Best sleep ever

Our current mattress is a little bit too hard for us and is causing my husband back issues. This foam topper has seriously changed my life! I don't really have any trouble falling asleep or going back to sleeping, but I do feel like I wake up a lot because I'm uncomfortable. That doesn't happen much anymore because this thing is like sleeping on a cloud. It's still supportive but so very soft. My boyfriend is on his feel all day too and this has helped immensely with his lower back problems. I've had much more expensive toppers that weren't nearly as good, this thing is awesome.
We have a pillowtop mattress that was golden the first year. Of course, it's since become worn and contoured to where we sleep. Obviously we can't flip the mattress, and buying a new one isn't an option right now, so we opted for this. HEAVEN. It's thick but not so much that you feel like you're sinking. It frames you without making you feel like you're in a hole- and bounces right back. It's made well, and I don't feel like it's going to crumble apart if a child gets ahold of it if I'm stripping the bed. A thick mattress cover makes in stay in place and not scoot during the night. My Husband is a truck driver and even after just a week, isn't complaining of a stiff back from sleeping anymore. :)
This mattress topper is so comfy! My husband and I have tried other memory foam mattress topper before they have never been as comfortable as this one. A lot of sleepless nights. That's what has been going on in my house. Tossing and turning due to an uncomfortable mattress. Although it is a pillow top, the springs below seem to have a mind of their own. I bought a mattress pad several months ago and it helped, but didn't really do the job. I purchased this mattress topper because even with a fairly new mattress my spouse and I were both waking up stiff every morning. My only concern with purchasing a topper would be extreme heat making us really uncomfortable on top of lower back pain. We both love this Lucid topper, it is so comfortable, fits our mattress perfectly with no over hang, and doesn't make us feel over heated and sweaty after a nights sleep. I love this mattress topper! I get up a few times throughout the night with my baby but I still feel rested in the morning after sleeping on this. It's soft but not too soft, just enough that I melt into it but can still roll over comfortably.
We have had our mattress topper for months, and it made such a huge difference in our comfort level during sleeping that we talk about it to everyone. My Jeff's son and daughter in law mentioned how every mattress they have had for the past few years, are horribly uncomfortable, so we have purchased one of these for their Christmas present. With this topper the standard mattress is a height of 18" making it the perfect height to get in and out of bed with ease. After cautiously opening the box and cutting the sealed bag all I needed to do was lay the topper out on the bed and within two hours it finished rising however the directions recommend giving it two days to fill and air out, it does have an odd smell so I do advise opening a window. Since this is a mix of gel and memory foam (with ventilation holes) it seems to be a little cooler than the traditional memory foam yet still offers the feeling of floating as it relieves the pressure of your body's weight. This is very comfortable and allows for gentle movement while still supporting the pressure points leaving me with a better night's sleep without the usual tossing and turning.

I've been in a few car accidents and one were I recently had herniated disc in my spine, if you add the recent pregnancy you'll understand why this was much needed. Some reasons for getting the topper would be the coolness of the topper. With the gel design, it helps to keep the temperature cool so that your body temperature stays leveled and does not over heat. Since this is a memory foam topper it forms to the body. If you are a curvy person, it will conform to your shape. An added plus is that the memory foam gpes back to the original shape so if you share your bed or maybe swaps side with your significant other, there will be non-issue regarding the form or dips in the bed. Because the topper is so soft, I'd suggest not using it of you cosleep with a infant since they are at a higher risk for SIDS. All in all the was a great purchase and I'm looking forward to more nights filled with great sleep and little to no back pain

I have always had lower back pain. I just bought a new mattress hoping it would help, but I sometimes still wake up stiff. I bought this 3” gel memory foam mattress topper to see if it would help, and I'm loving it so far! I wasn't sure which size to get- the 2, 3, or 4 inch one, but I'm glad I got the three inch one. I was worried it be too hot, but I like that it has small holes so that it can breathe, and I haven't gotten too hot. I was also worried that the foam would get wore down overtime, but the three year warranty is reassuring, and one of the main reasons I purchased this one. I'm very happy with my purchase! Well worth the money!
I got this mattress topper because I'm pregnant and sleeping has became impossible when this came in I rolled it out onto the living room floor and laid on it and I actually passed out I slept it felt so good the mattress topper is so comfortable and the quality of it is so perfect also it doesn't retain your body heat so I didn't wake up sweaty it was awesome I loved it would highly recommend it!
I've had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep for years now. Always tired and sore and never really knowing what a good nights rest was until I purchased this topper. It is amazing! Since the first night we put it in our bed we fall asleep so easy and sleep like never before! This thing is a life saver! I haven't woken up sore or tired yet. Once it arrived and I unwrapped it, it automatically started to inflate. I didn't wait the 48 hours like it recommends before I put it on our bed and it still was the best decision I could've made to help our sleepless nights. My husband had his doubts about it until the first morning when he just couldn't get out of bed because he was so comfortable and slept so great. I haven't heard a complaint once! It does not have any strong odors and is even withholding our Boxer that loves to snuggle with us! I do plan on ordering two more for both of my childrens beds. I was told I should try a Foam Topper for some better sleep so I figured I'd give this one a try. You roll it out for 2 days to let it form back into shape from shipping. I did it under my bed so I didn't use up a lot of floor space. I hoped it was worth all the extra effort and it was. I have slept awesome for about a week now! It conforms to me and gives me that little extra "hug" I apparently needed. My kiddo thinks it's the best thing since gummy bears. It is light weight and easy to move around despite the size just a little awkward at times. I ordered a king size. It returns to its original shape quickly after I get up and make the bed which helps because I hate not having a nice looking, flat bed. So far I'd say it's a total hit in my house and I'm going to buy another so I can have my bed back to myself.
Wow, I'm in love! I prefer a very soft bed. I want to completely sink into it. When I initially received this 3" topper I was surprised to see how small the box was. I knew it would be vacuum sealed but still expected bigger. Once I opened it though I was impressed. It fit my king sized bed perfectly, completely covering the edges. There was no smell, no long waiting time for it to fluff up, it molds back to normal quickly after you move. I tried to take a picture of my handprint on it but I wasn't fast enough! I haven't gotten too hot sleeping with this nor have I had any pain from it being too soft for good back support. My daughter has been begging me for days to take it off my bed and put it on hers! Maybe when a birthday rolls around I will be purchasing a queen sized version-we absolutely love it!
This memory foam topper is like sleeping on a cloud of awesomeness. I originally bought a memory foam topper about 10 years ago when they came out. Now they have much better technology and I wanted to upgrade to one with gel in it to. Little did I know it was going to be a complete awesome experience. This has turned my bed from just ok to a comfort that can not compare to anything else. The gel helps keep me from sweating while the 3 inches of memory foam sink me in and hug me like never before. I absolutely love this mattress topper and cant believe I waited so long to find out that the new ones are so much better.
Our mattress topper was starting to show its age so we decided to try this one out based on the good reviews it got. Both my husband and I were very impressed, as was our son, who enjoyed diving on top of the mattress before we got the bed made! The gel is very comfortable but still provide support, something I was a little concerned about. You also don't get overheated, which I know can be a problem with some of the memory foam products. It fit the bed perfectly, although we don't have a high profile mattress and the height of the pad may affect the way your sheets fit if your mattress is particularly thick. This was a great buy and I plan on purchasing another for our son.

I love this gel memory foam mattress topper! It is seriously soooo comfortable! I have purchased a king one of these before and put it in our trailer and we sleep like babies. I just purchased a twin size one and put it under my kids loft bed when he has cousins sleep over. It's easy to move around and so thick and cushy. Bought this for my hardworking parents who deserve a good nights sleep. They've had the same mattress for 20 years, and it's been horrible since day one. This gel piece is magical. I was SO excired for this topper to arrive, I could hardly wait the time it needed to fluff up and air out to use it We badly need a new mattress, but it is not in the cards right now, so a topper was the next best thing. And I'm so happy I read the reviews on this one and purchased it. The topper came packaged well and included a tool to remove it from the protective packaging without the chance if cutting the topper with scissors. The topper needs to be out in a ventilated room for 48 hrs to "grow" to its full 3" height and to air out completely. It fit my full sized bed perfectly and is so so comfy. Like sleeping on a cloud. I already have a pretty comfortable mattress, but wanted a topper as an extra layer of protection and a little bit of extra cushion. This topper is so unbelievably comfortable! When I first opened it, it had a bit of a strange scent to it but it aired out within 24 hours and wasn't a problem at all. It was fully expanded after 24 hours as well, so I didn't have to wait too long. After sleeping on it my first night, I was in love! It just contours to my body perfectly and feels comforting wrapped around me. If you prefer really firm beds, this isn't the topper for you because it's soft...but with that being said, it isn't too soft, either. After getting off the mattress, it reforms back to its original shape. I get hot pretty easily but this topper doesn't make me sweat at all. 5 stars all the way!
We have an older mattress (around 6 years old) that needs to get replaced but we can't right now. I'm having back pains when sleeping too long (which probably is caused by our old and worn mattress) and looked around for an inexpensive solution. I decided to try out a memory foam topper and I'm so glad I did. It is very comfortable to sleep on it and I wake up more restful and with less pain, not without pain at all but quite a bit of less pain. This topper kind of hugs your body and doesn't leave a gap between the pad and you like the mattress did...it's like it is supporting my back a bit. Please note that the topper does have a strong smell once it comes out of the box. I left it outside on top of my kids playhouse to let it air out for a whole day. After that the smell was completely gone. I also worried that the memory foam topper would not stay put because I move a lot in my sleep and that it would get hot sleeping on it but I'm happy to say that neither of this happened. So far I am really happy with my purchase and enjoy going to bed again.
OMG! This is a dream come true! I have been searching for something to help relieve my back pain and this works wonderfully!!! When it arrived, I was so excited I did not want to wait the time to let it fully expand before using but it definitely paid off and now both my sons want one for their beds!

I have nothing but good things to say about this memory foam topper. When I received the item it comes in a box and was in a bag all scrunched up. After you take it out, there are directions that say leave out for two hours. After two hours I finally put it on my bed and it makes my old twenty year old mattress feel new again. It's very soft and just very amazing to lay on. My wife who's pregnant is in love with this because she used to tell me her back hurts after a long night. Now my wife and I have no problems no more. Love this gel topper.
My husband and I have been planning and saving up to buy a new mattress since August. With life happening our dream of a new bed in the near future was gone. I decided with what little we had left, we'd try a topper. OH MY GOODNESS. Guys. I have a 4 month old and I've never slept so well in my life. I feel SO much better. I didn't know that I could ever wake up not feeling tired again. I have energy in the morning, my neck doesn't hurt, my back feels AMAZING. I'm 24! I've just been sleeping on the wrong mattress. It doesn't make muni husband wake up sweaty, and I wake up cozy and warm, so it's breatheable. The best part is it was so much cheaper thank buying a new bed. I highly recommend this product and seller. ❤️ Also, I know scents are worrisome to some people, and I had to almost press my face into it to smell it, so the “weird new mattress smell” didn't bother either of us.
I had a 1.5 inch memory foam topper, but I love this 3” topper more! Feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. It is very tough and durable. Sometimes I would have pull my old topper because it would shift to one side of my bed and it would start to rip. This one is very strong and has a top that is a little stickier so the mattress topper sticks to it better and it doesn't move. I live that cause I hate wrinkles sheets. I would recommend this memory foam topper!
You just sink into bed and become enveloped in a comfy pillow, it really is amazing. My husband claims it has helped all his morning aches and pains too!
I bought this for my 6 year old son's mattress. He's been sleeping on a 6-inch memory foam mattress on a bottom bunk for a year now, and recently, I've had to lay down with him in order to get him to sleep. Well, I realized his bed really isn't all that comfortable, so I decided to add this gel memory foam topper. It has made a huge difference in the comfort level. The bed is softer and more comfortable now, and he likes it better, too. I let it air out in a room by itself, with a fan running for two days, and the initial smell totally dissipated. I wish I'd bought it sooner.
Great product! Mid-soft and cool, just what my moms bed needed!! I absolutely hated staying over and sleeping on their bed, but now we will all get a restful sleep when sleeping on this!!
You guys, this mattress topper took my bed from good to amazing. Our bed isn't old by any means but I just wanted that extra bit of comfort because I was having a hard time sleeping. This right here did it for me. It is so comfortable, not too squishy, not too hard. Does not get super hot, it is just right! I am also easily amused and I love that his comes vacuum packaged in a small box. I find that I really enjoy taking it out and watching it inflate to it's full size. I let mine sit for about 24 hours before putting it on my bed. Works amazing! I totally recommend this mattress topper if you are looking for something to make your existing mattress more comfortable for a good nights sleep.
We received the King sized memory foam mattress topper and my husband and I love it! The mattress we have is a little on the firm side for me. This mattress topper really helped bring that extra softness and comfort that I was wanting.

i purchased a 4 inch gel memory foam topper, you sink it but your laying in a hole, it sinks in so much it is difficult to turn over, i weigh 123 lbs and it's like rolling up a hill when trying to turn over, i would never buy lucid brand again

I received my 3 inch LUCID memory foam mattress topper four weeks ago. The instructions said allow 48 hours for the memory foam to expand and enjoy. After 5 days the topper was only 50 % expanded and only on one side. Called LUCID and they said walk on it with clean feet, add a space heater, and give it another week. Well it's now been four weeks and the topper is only 3/4 expanded with a 12-14 inch wide section from top to bottom not expanded and a few smaller areas not folly expanded. They told me to put it back in the box and send it back. Mind you it is 3/4 expanded and no way it will fit back in the box. Can't tell you how it may sleep since it won't expand properly but I will say I'm very disappointed with the product and the lack of support from LUCID. I do not reccomend their products.
