My 13 yr old loves his bed! It's sturdy and wasn't bad at all to put together.
The loft bed a great size for my pre-teen son. The only drawback is the backboard was cut way to short. We only attached i to the top part of side of the bed.
Easy to put together. Helped organize and open up a lot of space in the room. The ladder is uncomfortable to climb so we used pool noodles as pads for the ladder rungs. Other than that, its a great product.

My daughter loves this bed. However, the assembly has been a nightmare. First, not all the parts were delivered to complete the desk portion. There were holes drilled in the wrong spot, as well. They did send an entirely new bed but since we already had the bed portion put together, we had to go through the boxes and find the correct pieces. Finally went to put the desk portion together and there was still one hole drilled in the wrong spot!! It's a nice bed but has taken over a month to really get the thing put together!

Great for my 12yo and when he has sleepovers. 10in bed on the bottom and 6in on the top works well. Sturdy. Took forever for 1 person to put together, get a partner. Ladder metal is hard under the foot but most are.
We have a sloped ceiling to deal with, so this shorter bunk was perfect. It's very stable and the style is exactly what we were hoping for.
