I agree with several other people! We received our matters less then a month ago as well. Along with an adjustable bed frame which is fantastic.. HOWEVER this mattress is terrible!!! It was NOT this hard in the store!! And you can't return it without a penalty and not worth the loss. Will NOT ever buy a firm sealy again!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this mattress
After getting this new Sterns and Foster mattress, I didn't realize what I had been missing. Sleep better and wake up refreshed. Just love it and so glad we invested in a new one as our old one was 12yrs. old and needed to be put out to pasture! I would highly recommend Sterns and Foster Mattress. Can't say enough about it. The BEST! I never thought I would say that about a mattress. It is the best mattress we have owned. Firm for my husband and soft for me. The delivery was outstanding. It took less than 15 minutes to be set up and ready for use. The service exceeded my expectations, on time and quick. I am really glad that we made the purchase.

Hard as a rock.
This is a very nice, quality mattress but it is VERY hard-not just firm. We even added a memory foam topper and I am barely able to sleep as I have shoulder issues. I never thought I'd return a mattress but we will have to take advantage of the 30 day return policy.
Not comfortable at all, feels extremely cheap
I was so disappointed to get this mattress. It's super light and feels really cheap. The box spring feels the same way. We do not have a JCPenney home store near us, so I decided to take the chance and buy online. I would definitely recommend going to the store and trying before you purchase.
POOR POOR POOR POOR DONT BUY IT
I got the mattress I was highly disappointed. To begin with its a 3 inch mattress. Not happy at all. This was the worse mistake ever. I returned the bed and mattress. Had to take a $125.00 restocking fee and a $50.00 re delivery fee. Plus the only way that I can trade it in was if I bought a new bed with JCpenny so I will take the loss this whole thing leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and I will take the loss the picture above is very misleading. do not buy this product
Mattress is NOT as pictured.
I ordered this mattress online. Cheap & cheerful... or so I thought. The mattress was delivered today, its smaller (in thickness) than the box springs. The image on this product is completely misleading. The mattress is probably 2-3 inches thick. Completely disappointing & extra frustrating.

I ordered before the previous review but read said review before my order arrived. So I was not surprised when my order arrived and the mattress was thinner than I originally expected. It looks much thicker in the picture. The box spring is probably double the thickness. With saying that, it is still a good height if not on the ground. The mattress is quite firm but I still go right to sleep as soon as I lay down whereas that was not happening on my old mattress. I would reorder.
Great Buy!
I purchased this mattress in a king and am very pleased thus far. As one of the other reviews notes, this isn't a typical plush. It is more of a medium to medium plush, which is exactly what we were looking for in a mattress so it is perfect for us. I price shopped A LOT before buying and was a little apprehensive about buying a mattress online without trying it out in person, but for the money (I got mine under 400) it can't be beat. My only complaint is that it took almost 3 weeks to arrive and for the $50 delivery charge, I would have expected that you could at least choose your timeframe for delivery (you can pick the day, but get am automated call the day before with your assigned 2 hour window...and then they arrived an hour early) but neither of those issues have anything to do with the bed itself. Overall, a great mattress for the money!

we looked at some value beds this has the value an luxury an comfort. without the huge price tag,we looked at some were going to be more the weight rating was like ,230lbs max ,this one at 700 lbs rateing. an its price had me sold.now that i have it cant say enough ,go spend more dont think you will get a better bed at 2k , shipped white glove service how can they do it,i know ,your thinking what am i getting ,well i got to say i dont know why others are not buying this bed, one would have to be very very very picky ,an have a ton to spend on a bed an not care about saveing money to not no value luxury comfort ,an feeling like your on cloud 9 ,has the support on the edges for sitting ,i have had the more exspencive beds,first to review the bed wows me,dont let the price fool you your bed is made to order , we got ours in 10 days after the order was placed ,its worth the weight hehe rateing,we got the 14in its a bit higher but i am a tall guy 6ft4 ,mom is short 5ft4 still fits her fine ,we did not get the set ,get the set though ,an get both for under 1k ,we only had circumstance ,that we matched them with box spings from another store worked out fine from simmons.just cant say enough ,get there sheets too no one comes close to Jc penny on this one ,seen the bed going for thrifty not cheap .like being on cloud 9 ,a bit very soft an still kinda firm ,but not to much ,i would even say medium ,i saved so much i bought the cover 4 sets of sheets new pillows you name it ,i thought just mabey they came from a warehouse no date was 3/27/18 made like 4 days ago ,you can pay more for an in the box matteress why,they make all there matteresses to order ,get the allegra an live in luxury for less simmons WOW deal is all can say an more ,pillow top too shop till you drop an find this deal for REAL.goes great on the beauty sleep 9 leg frame good for 2000lbs ,dont miss out,i would say more but time to reat my back like never before for less Quality bed ,an will sleep on it
good mattress for the price
The first one came with a hole in it and we had to reorder, pay for another one, and wait for a refund for several weeks. Plus we coukldn't use the mattress until the new one came and it was several weeks alter. Other than that issue, the mattress is a good value for the price and is great for my 14 year old son.

this mattress started to sink in after about 4 weeks of me sleeping on it.

Bought 2 sets of mattresses and each met our expectations.
The mattresses we bought were exactly like the floor model which we liked for its features and price. They are well made and fit the beds perfectly! Our daughters really like their new mattresses and beds.

I was hesitant of purchasing this mattress online and when the mattress was delivered my fears were confirmed! This mattress is very thin and did not fit my queen sized box spring. I am 5'3" and 185 lbs after sitting on this mattress for 5 minutes there was a noticeable dent in the spot where I sat that almost flattened it therefore; my husband which is 6'5" and **** lbs dared not to try it. I had originally told customer care that I would be needing them to haul away my old mattress but when the mattress was delivered I knew that I would need my back up! The mattress was so thin that when we returned the mattress to the store it simply folded up into the backseat of our car and popped back out when we arrived. SAD and DISAPPOINTED

Firm lower end mattress. Bought this for our daughter's home for when we visit and spent three nights on this mattress and was very pleased with it. Should last many years as it will only be used for about 3o days in a year. whole process of ordering and shipping was easy . Went to the local store to test it out and decided this one was the best for our needs.
Sealy products have turned poor!
This was an okay mattress. I bought it because it was decently priced and the quality looked good in the picture. But it is not what I expected. The mattress is thinner compared to other twin mattresses in the market. And it is not firm as advertised, this is more of a soft mattress. It has been about a month since I bought it and already it has dents forming in it. And I only weigh 110 lbs so this shouldn't be happening. Who knows how long this mattress can last??

Nice mattress for the money
The mattress is very nice and what I expected for the money. The shipping was a horrible. Took 7 week before delivery. I received a tracking invoice. After 3 week and no delivery i tried to track the mattress and there was no record. I then call customer service the 1st 2 ladies I spoke with were very unprofessional,rude and there was no follow up of information that they promised. I then called again and spoke with Dave, very nice, great follow up and I had the mattress the next week..
Good Mattress
I gave this mattress 4 *s instead of 5 because of the squeaking noise when moving on it, such as when turning from left side of body to the right side. It has the right amount of firmness and softness that satisfied my body enough to sleep well. I purchased this mattress on sale online, and it was worth the amount I paid. I feel I got my money's worth and would recommend it to others, but only for the range in which I paid.

My Mattress
They say good things come to those who wait., in my case that certainly applies. I ordered my mattress from JCP on November 27, 2017, and just was delivered only a little over a week ago. Due to negligence and false statements and deceit., furthermore, I will think twice before making such purchase of this nature. However, I could not be thankful and asked for such a perfect mattress. The comfort is amazing and my lower back issues have been resolved. Thank you for better sleep, and comfort.

I sleep well on this mattress
I got a very good buy on this particular mattress and I was not disappointed when I received it. It is a firmer mattress, and as I am a stomach sleeper, it is quite comfortable. I have not woken with back discomfort since I got it. The mattress is not very thick, and some of my sheets seem loose on it. I am going to buy a topper for protection and to add a bit of height. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied. A great mattress for an excellent price!

Good for a child
The mattress stated that it was firm, but when I received it it was not that way. A full sized adult will have problems with the mattress. The only reason why I am Okay with the mattress is because it is being used in my daughters room.

This mattress is average. It was a low cost mattress. (I'm not allowed to include an actual price in my review.) Although I preferred other mattresses that were way more comfortable, the prices were too high.
Not as described
My family and I were excited to get a new mattress for my niece so we had been looking for a mattress. Luckily we found this one and were anxious to get it. Unfortunately, we were greatly disappointed. The dimensions of the mattress were not as stated. It states that the height is 10 inches and the mattress we received is only 5 inches, only half. I will definitely not be buying mattresses on here anymore.

This mattress was cool to unpack! It is a comfortable mattress. We've had a hard time finding a mattress that didn't cost a fortune. This one is a pretty good. We haven't sunk into it yet, so that's very good. We've had it for a few months now. Overall, a good buy for the money.
