When I purchased the Plush Alexander Mattress I was extremely please as I had returned a previous one from another company. this mattress It is soft yet provides the needed support as I had rotator surgery. Then, I got greedy and ordered the Cooling Topper! Though I had some reservations if this could really improve my sleep experience, I was actually surprised to find out it enhanced my sleeping pleasure! During the first winter, I found the heating pad on my topper had to be turned up a bit as the cooling gel was drawing the heat down! Summers have no "sweat spots here"! This was a great decision and Nest Bedding will readily answer your questions as they did mine... now for some sheets! Bottom line - Nest Bedding should have been the first company I went to!

Bought a mattress thats a bit too firm to appease my gf who didn't like my soft, aging mattress but we both agreed that the new one was a bit too firm. Since we sort of got stuck in the MattressFirm purchase loop, we opted to try this topper. I had been using a feather bed topper which felt amazingly comfortable but was basically like roasting in a furnace by the time we woke up. This thing is like laying on a pillow, not nearly as AHHHhhh comfortable as a feather bed topper but still quite comfortable but it's amazing it doesn't heat up like a feather bed topper. That said, it's not a miracle topper, we still get hot sometimes.. but we're also human. It can be unavoidable. Also the little of bit of memory foam seems good for my joints.
it doesn't cool but I might be a really hot sleeper- I bought it to give a little sink-in-ness to my next luxury firm hybrid bed which was/is slightly too firm but extremely comfortable. I have been trying to give the topper time to adjust but I still feel like it really helping my needs.
I am down in Florida for the winter and I have an extra firm concrete slab innerspring down here. I dreaded this bed lol I ordered this topper and it has made the bed so much more comfortable. The customer service at this company is like nothing I've seen before. I asked to delay my shipment a few days because I was out of town. Boom done. I think after reading these reviews I had too high of expectations. To me, there is absolutely nothing "cooling" about this topper. It doesn't trap heat like my old topper but otherwise I am not that that impressed with cooling aspect. Perhaps it's because I am comparing it to what I experienced with the actual cooling mattress Nest has which seemed amazing and probably what I should have done to begin with. I also think because my mattress is pretty firm this foam didn't do anything in terms of adding comfort.

I was surprised at the thickness of the topper. It is comfortable, but it doesn’t seem to fit the width of the mattress. My husband complains about not being able to sit on the edge if he bed. I have an older European Sleepworks mattress and I didn't want to invest in a whole new mattress. I threw away the topper that came with the mattress and replaced it with the Alexander Signature topper and it made a huge difference in the comfort of the mattress.

I'm a very petite side sleeper with scoliosis-- a terrible combination for finding the perfect mattress. Even most plush mattresses cause shoulder and hip pressure. I bought the Alexander Signature Cooling Topper to go on a new plush hybrid mattress I bought from a local manufacturer (none of the Nest beds were soft enough) because, after sleeping on a Tempur-pedic for almost 15 years, I wanted more of that memory foam sinking-in feeling. The topper provided exactly that and was very comfortable. However, it ended up aggravating my scoliosis (as did my old Tempur-pedic), so I had to pass the topper on to my husband. He loves it, so it ended up being a great purchase in the end. I would definitely recommend the topper to anyone looking to add a soft but supportive comfort layer.
So here is my slightly circuitous review: I found Nest because they have *the best* reviews online and so I subsequently ordred an Alexander Signature Medium (version 1.0). It was too soft for me and so at the end of my trial period, the CEO himself helpfully pointed out to me that they had some new and improved version 2.0 mattresses to try out. I decided to give the Alexander Signature Firm version 2.0 a try as I was told it was inbetween the medium 1.0 and firm 1.0 (which was like laying on sheet rock!). Sadly it still ended up being too firm for my 120lb frame (it's NOT for side sleepers) so I got this mattress topper. Even with the topper, the second mattress (firm 2.0) is still too firm for me personally, but the topper is FANTASTIC as is the customer service. I will be sad to return my second attempt at a Nest mattress because I love that they are the only company using organic non-smelly materials, but I think I may just not be cut out for memory foam. I still highly recommend this company because of the customer service and the fact that they have actual showrooms where you can test the matresses is unique.
Got the Signature Series and look forward to bed because just how comfy it is. My spouse snores loud and use to rattle our old bed. I no longer feel the vibration from it. Absolutely recommend this bed.
I returned my mattress but kept the topper. The mattress was too firm. The topper is wonderful. I bought a second for another bedroom. This topper makes an ok mattress sleep like a dream. Don’t buy any other one. Try this one and you won’t regret. It comfy but not too soft.

I was anxious about buying this because I already have a memory foam bed that holds all of my heat with me on summer night. I couldn't find anything about if it was a good or bad idea to double down on memory foam, but I bought it anyway. This topper is SO worth it! This topper is very comfortable. It made my firm bed feel softer. It is more supportive than I expected - you do not sink into it like you do on regular memory foam pads. It gave my bed just the right amount of softness that it needed without taking away the support. It is perfect for me.

Have had the mattress a few weeks and find it very comfortable. Seems to help with my chronic back pain. If I feel the same way in another month or two it will be a total success.
After 30 plus years of my husband and I being aware of each other’s changes in sleeping positions during the night, this bed let’s us sleep soundly.....almost like sleeping alone. My biggest hesitation in purchasing this bed was that I thought it would radiate my heat back at me and make me too hot the way foam mattresses do. Glad to say it does not. The all natural fibers must be the reason why. I love my bed!
We are very happy with our mattress and topper. It took a bit longer than expected for delivery to the east coast, but besides that, a completely predictable and enjoyable purchase. I was somewhat concerned about getting the mattress box up my stairs, but the boxes have hand notches that make lifting a breeze. Our king was easily manageable up a tall turning flight of stairs, so unless you have no helper or are aged, I'd recommend you not pay for set-up. We bought a "box spring" from US Box Spring and it was a breeze to assemble. As for comfort, the bed is wonderful. We were happy night one and each since. Our pillows are a different story. They are SUPER heavy and very thick. We have adjusted them several times by removing fill, but are still trying to find the right adjustment. We may return them. The Avocado team has been a joy to work with. Would absolutely recommend.

The Avocado mattress is simply the best. I love the company philosophy, the customer service, the natural materials, and the guarantee. It is the most comfortable mattress that I have ever had the pleasure to sleep on. After months of suffering from back pain due to an old mattress, we first tried going to a brick-and-mortar mattress store. Little did we realize that selecting what SEEMED comfortable in the store would commit our money to that store forever. From the first 15 minutes of resting on that mattress (supposedly hybrid memory foam and spring) after it was set up in our home, I knew that it wasn't right. My back actually felt worse. Too bad for us. No refunds. We were allowed only one other chance to "get it right," and selected another mattress. We haven't even slept on it because the Avocado is so wonderful. The mattress store told us (horror of horrors) that they were going to "destroy" the mattress that we rested upon for 15 minutes. They wouldn't even donate it. I have gotten a few mattress toppers prior to this, they have honestly never been “review” worthy. However, I am smitten with this one! I have had the best few nights sleep EVER. I love how it conforms to my body with just the right amount of pressure. My husband typically likes different types of mattresses than I do, so I was a little concerned with that, but he is also extremely pleased with this one. The only issue we will have now, is the kids sneaking into our bed!
