When I purchased the Plush Alexander Mattress I was extremely please as I had returned a previous one from another company. this mattress It is soft yet provides the needed support as I had rotator surgery. Then, I got greedy and ordered the Cooling Topper! Though I had some reservations if this could really improve my sleep experience, I was actually surprised to find out it enhanced my sleeping pleasure! During the first winter, I found the heating pad on my topper had to be turned up a bit as the cooling gel was drawing the heat down! Summers have no "sweat spots here"! This was a great decision and Nest Bedding will readily answer your questions as they did mine... now for some sheets! Bottom line - Nest Bedding should have been the first company I went to!

Bought a mattress thats a bit too firm to appease my gf who didn't like my soft, aging mattress but we both agreed that the new one was a bit too firm. Since we sort of got stuck in the MattressFirm purchase loop, we opted to try this topper. I had been using a feather bed topper which felt amazingly comfortable but was basically like roasting in a furnace by the time we woke up. This thing is like laying on a pillow, not nearly as AHHHhhh comfortable as a feather bed topper but still quite comfortable but it's amazing it doesn't heat up like a feather bed topper. That said, it's not a miracle topper, we still get hot sometimes.. but we're also human. It can be unavoidable. Also the little of bit of memory foam seems good for my joints.
it doesn't cool but I might be a really hot sleeper- I bought it to give a little sink-in-ness to my next luxury firm hybrid bed which was/is slightly too firm but extremely comfortable. I have been trying to give the topper time to adjust but I still feel like it really helping my needs.
I am down in Florida for the winter and I have an extra firm concrete slab innerspring down here. I dreaded this bed lol I ordered this topper and it has made the bed so much more comfortable. The customer service at this company is like nothing I've seen before. I asked to delay my shipment a few days because I was out of town. Boom done. I called up to confirm there were not chemicals and everything was certified safe- instantly someone answered the phone. The mattress topper is beyond comfortable. I think after reading these reviews I had too high of expectations. To me, there is absolutely nothing "cooling" about this topper. It doesn't trap heat like my old topper but otherwise I am not that that impressed with cooling aspect. Perhaps it's because I am comparing it to what I experienced with the actual cooling mattress Nest has which seemed amazing and probably what I should have done to begin with. I also think because my mattress is pretty firm this foam didn't do anything in terms of adding comfort.

I was surprised at the thickness of the topper. It is comfortable, but it doesn’t seem to fit the width of the mattress. My husband complains about not being able to sit on the edge if he bed. I'm a very petite side sleeper with scoliosis-- a terrible combination for finding the perfect mattress. Even most plush mattresses cause shoulder and hip pressure. I bought the Alexander Signature Cooling Topper to go on a new plush hybrid mattress I bought from a local manufacturer (none of the Nest beds were soft enough) because, after sleeping on a Tempur-pedic for almost 15 years, I wanted more of that memory foam sinking-in feeling. The topper provided exactly that and was very comfortable. However, it ended up aggravating my scoliosis (as did my old Tempur-pedic), so I had to pass the topper on to my husband. He loves it, so it ended up being a great purchase in the end. I would definitely recommend the topper to anyone looking to add a soft but supportive comfort layer.
So here is my slightly circuitous review: I found Nest because they have *the best* reviews online and so I subsequently ordred an Alexander Signature Medium (version 1.0). It was too soft for me and so at the end of my trial period, the CEO himself helpfully pointed out to me that they had some new and improved version 2.0 mattresses to try out. I decided to give the Alexander Signature Firm version 2.0 a try as I was told it was inbetween the medium 1.0 and firm 1.0 (which was like laying on sheet rock!). Sadly it still ended up being too firm for my 120lb frame (it's NOT for side sleepers) so I got this mattress topper. Even with the topper, the second mattress (firm 2.0) is still too firm for me personally, but the topper is FANTASTIC as is the customer service. I will be sad to return my second attempt at a Nest mattress because I love that they are the only company using organic non-smelly materials, but I think I may just not be cut out for memory foam. I still highly recommend this company because of the customer service and the fact that they have actual showrooms where you can test the matresses is unique.
Got the Signature Series and look forward to bed because just how comfy it is. My spouse snores loud and use to rattle our old bed. I no longer feel the vibration from it. Absolutely recommend this bed.
I returned my mattress but kept the topper. The mattress was too firm. The topper is wonderful. I bought a second for another bedroom. This topper makes an ok mattress sleep like a dream. Don’t buy any other one. Try this one and you won’t regret. It comfy but not too soft.

I was anxious about buying this because I already have a memory foam bed that holds all of my heat with me on summer night. I couldn't find anything about if it was a good or bad idea to double down on memory foam, but I bought it anyway. This topper is SO worth it! I feel so much cooler at night and it holds me like a hug. The topper shifts around on my mattress, but the mattress shifts around itself (foam problems). and it's a small, small price to pay for cool, cushy comfort.
